LOOK | Blaze Publication Managing Editor Elected as LYDC Business Manager

On July 17, 2026, Richie Anne Jayme, the Managing Editor of Blaze Publication, was elected as the Business Manager of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) of the Municipality of Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.

Aside from serving as the Managing Editor of Blaze Publication, Jayme also holds the position of Vice President of the School Student Government (SSG) of San Blas Academy Inc., where she has consistently demonstrated commitment and leadership in serving the student body.

Her election to the LYDC marks another significant milestone in her leadership journey. While this new role brings greater responsibilities, it also reflects the trust and confidence placed in her abilities to contribute to youth development in the municipality.

The San Blas Academy Inc. community and the Blaze Publication family congratulate Richie Anne Jayme on this well-deserved achievement and wish her success as she fulfills her duties as the newly elected LYDC Business Manager.

Look l From Campus Leadership to Community Impact

On July 17, 2026, San Blas Academy Inc. proudly participated in the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Seminar. The event gathered dynamic student leaders from various schools across the Binalbagan 1 and Binalbagan 2 Districts. Representing our institution was our dedicated Supreme Student Government (SSG), which actively participated in discussions on local youth initiatives.

The seminar was led by Mr. Beermoon M. Getonzo (Local Youth Development Officer-Designate), alongside Mr. Raye Vincent Tejares (Vice President of the LYDO of the Municipality of Binalbagan), who shared valuable insights regarding the duties and functions of the council.

It was an honor for our SSG representatives to take part in such a vital initiative. Our student leaders returned inspired and eager to contribute to the planning and implementation of youth programs within Binalbagan. We highly value these opportunities for our youth to engage in local governance and community development.

We look forward to a strong, fruitful partnership with the Local Youth Development Council as we continue empowering the youth of our community!

Today, July 15, 2026, students from San Blas Academy Inc. actively participated in the Nutrition Month Celebration of Barangay Payao by competing in the Cooking Contest and Poster-Making Contest.

The event, organized by the Barangay Officials of Barangay Payao, aimed to promote healthy living and raise awareness of the importance of proper nutrition among the youth. Through these activities, students were encouraged to embrace healthy eating habits while showcasing their creativity and practical skills.

The SBAI participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm, creativity, and passion throughout the competitions, reflecting their commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and making the schoolโ€™s community proud.
