September 01, 2025 CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED IN ALL LEVELS (Public and Private) in the Municipality of Binalbagan.

Bangud sa padayun sang makusog nga ulan kag may yara naman reported ang atun LDRRMO nga apektado nga low lying areas. Base man sa koordinasyon sa iban nga banwa nga nag dulhog ang tubig sa Binalbagan, sila naka experienced man sang madamol nga ulan kag pagbaha kag gina expectar nga madulhog sa atun banwa. Atun man gina pasigurado ang seguridad sang atun estudyante kag manunudlo sa kabukiran.

Please be guided accordingly.

LDRRMC Chairman Hon. Emmanuel I. Aranda approved and declare the resumption of work and classes tomorrow July 24, 2025 as endorsed by LDRRMO headed by Engr. Jernie Rondin with the following reasons:

As per Office of the president Memorandum Circular No.91, Negros Occidental is not included in the list of areas where classes and work are suapended.

No suspension of classes endorsed base on current weather condition, DEPED guidelines on suspension of classes based on rainfall warning and PAGASA weather forecast

Meanwhile, at 3:00 PM, the center of Tropical Storm "EMONG" was estimated at 130 km West of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (18.2N, 119.3E), with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

LOCAL FORECAST: Negros Occidental will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon.
