Led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗖. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔, 𝗠𝗕𝗔, whose wealth of knowledge is drawn from his decade-long experience in positions of leadership, the session inspired Augustinian leaders to look within themselves and let interiority guide their leadership, noting that to lead others, we must first learn to lead ourselves.
As we begin a new academic year, may this orientation serve as a reminder that leadership is not defined by titles or positions, but by the willingness to serve, to listen, and to show up when our community needs us most. Together, let us build a student government that leads with purpose, serves with compassion, and upholds the Augustinian spirit in all that we do.

Colegio San Agustin–Biñan formally celebrated the blessing of the newly renovated College Audio-Visual Room (AVR) and Faculty Room at Mendel Hall, marking another milestone in the institution’s continuous commitment to providing an improved learning and working environment for the Augustinian community.
The blessing ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Ronnel Ian Garcia, OSA, Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Religious Affairs, and Rev. Fr. Rodel D. The newly improved spaces serve as a testament to CSA–Biñan’s dedication to creating facilities that support academic excellence, collaboration, and holistic formation. The College AVR will provide students with a more conducive venue for learning, presentations, and academic activities, while the renovated Faculty Room offers a space that supports faculty collaboration and professional engagement.

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) of Colegio San Agustin–Biñan officially began the new academic year with an Opening Mass, gathering students, faculty, and members of the community in prayer and thanksgiving.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ronnel Ian Garcia, OSA, Vice President for Augustinian Formation and Religious Affairs, who reminded the CAS community of the importance of commitment — not only to academic pursuits but also to personal growth and the journey of life.
In his homily, Fr. Ronnel reflected on the call to choose the narrow gate, emphasizing that it is not chosen simply because it is difficult, but because it represents the right path — one that requires dedication, discipline, and a commitment to what truly leads toward growth and fulfillment.
He encouraged students to embrace their studies with purpose, recognizing that education is not merely about achieving goals but about forming themselves into individuals guided by faith, values, and responsibility.
As the College of Arts and Sciences begins another academic year, may every Augustinian student continue to walk their path with courage, perseverance, and a heart committed to excellence and service.
