Personnel of Biñan City Police Station showed us cadets the City Hall’s capabilities to monitor the orderliness and current situation of the city.

These CCTVs installed in different locations serve multiple purposes such as enhancing public safety, deterring criminal activity, monitoring traffic flows, and assisting our law enforcement in investigations.

Overall, it helps authorities maintain order, prevent crime, and ensure the security of residents and visitors throughout various areas of the city.

On February 13, 2024, Cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy assigned in Biñan City participated in a Public Community Relation activity conducted by Biñan City Police Station at Biñan City Senior High School - Sto Thomas Campus as part of their Phase II (Station Immersion).

The sight of students smiling while receiving a simple pressence from the personnel of Binan City Police Station fills us cadets with immense gratitude.

The purpose of this kind of activity is to foster trust, transparency, and cooperation between the police force and the community.

Through outreach programs, dialogues, and partnerships, the PNP aims to build positive relationships, enhance public safety, and address community concerns effectively, promoting mutual understanding and support.

On Monday, January 29, 2024, as part of the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) of all members of LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024, PLTCOL MA SOCORRO V MARASIGAN conducted an orientation on the Requirements for CSC Attestation of Appointment of Newly Appointed Police Commissioned Officers at the Heroes Hall of the Academics Building, PNPA.

The orientation was intended for the First Class or the graduating class that soon will need to comply with the Civil Service Commission Attestation of Appointment.

January 25 is the SAF 44 Memorial Day when we celebrate to remember their sacrifice of 44 Special Action Force (SAF) members who were killed on that date as a result of police operations held in Mamasapano, Phillippines. The occasion is a somber commemoration of their courage and commitment to providing harmony for the people living in this country.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, as part of the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) of all members of LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024, PCOL VINA H GUZMAN, Chief of Staff, Anti-Cybercrime Group, conducted a lecture about PNP Child Protection Policy at the Heroes Hall of the Academics Building, PNPA.

The discussion focuses on the Policies of the Philippine National Police to Protect the welfare of children against any forms of abuse and threats.

PCOL GUZMAN states that to guarantee the welfare of kids, the Child Protection Policy of the Philippine National Police is extremely important for it establishes the guidelines that prevent, solve, and deal with such issues as child exploitation, abuse, and violence.

It is also important that promoting children’s care therefore ensures a society that treats every child’s rights and dignity with respect thereby giving them an environment where they can grow up safely.

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, as part of the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) of all members of LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024,PCOL JAY DANAO GUILLERMO conducted a Seminar regarding Current Trends in Cybercrime at the Heroes Hall of the Academics Building, PNPA.

The discussion also serves as a reminder to the cadets that in order to prevent cybercrime, it is essential to have a solid understanding of cybersecurity. Being aware of danger online, phishing efforts, and secure passwords are made easier for people. Users that are knowledgeable are less likely to fall for scams, safeguard personal information, and make te internet a safer place.

Education strengthens our defense against cyberattacks and enable us to make educated judgements.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, as part of the Cadet Attachment Program (CAP) of all members of LAYAG-DIWA Class of 2024,PCOL VILLAMOR QUIZZAGAN TULIAO,Deputy Director for Operations of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group conducted a lecture on Trafficking in Persons, at the Heroes Hall of the Academics Building, PNPA.

With all the information discussed, it is crucial that by staying informed about common trafficking tactics, be cautious online, and prioritize personal safety is a must. Avoid risky situations, be skeptical of lucrative job offers that seem too good to be true, and trust your instincts. Build a support network, and report any suspicious activity to authorities. Education and awareness are key to prevention.

REYES, Assistant Chief of AVAWCD, WCPC and PCPL JEMIMA JOYCE G DAQUIOAG, conducted a Seminar about the Violence against Women and Children, and Preparation of Judicial Affidavit at the Heroes Hall of the Academics Building, PNPA. The Seminar serves as a review for all First Class Cadets as part of their preparation for what might they encounter outside after their graduation.
