Sabi nga nila, may kanya-kanya tayong timeline. Kung ang iba ay naging RN na sa edad na 21–25, ako naman, inabot ng 35 years old bago ko naisulat ang dalawang letrang matagal ko nang pinapangarap—RN. Pagkatapos ng high school, pangarap ng nanay ko na maging nurse ako, pero dahil mahal ang Nursing, nag-Midwifery muna ako. At 18, pumasa ako sa Midwifery Board Exam at nagsimulang magtrabaho para makatulong sa pamilya. Lumipas ang 12 taon sa hospital, at habang inuuna ko ang pamilya at mga responsibilidad, unti-unti kong isinantabi ang sarili kong pangarap. Pero hindi pala iyon nakalimutan ni Lord. Binigyan Niya ako ng pagkakataong makabalik sa school, at sinimulan ko ang Nursing journey ko habang buntis sa second child namin. I graduated in December 2025, and with almost two months of review, I took the August 2026 PNLE. Maraming pagod, doubts, at luha, pero pinili kong magtiwala at sumubok.
Today, at 35 years old, I am finally a REGISTERED NURSE. 🥹❤ He answered my parents’ prayers, fulfilled my mother’s dream, and restored a dream I once thought I had forgotten. Looking back, I now understand why it took me this long. Maybe my journey was never meant to be fast, but meaningful. Along the way, I learned perseverance, sacrifice, patience, humility, and most importantly, faith. To anyone who feels behind in life, remember: you are not late—you are simply on a different timeline. My journey may have taken 35 years, but I know now that I was never too late. I was right on time—God’s time. 🙏🏻❤
And a huge part of this answered prayer was CBRC and its amazing lecturers. ❤ In less than two months, you gave me more than lessons for the board exam—you gave me knowledge, confidence, motivation, and hope. Your lectures, guidance, strategies, and constant encouragement helped me believe that I could make it, especially on the days when I doubted myself. You did not simply teach us how to answer questions; you reminded us that we were capable of achieving our dreams. You made us feel like family. To every CBRC lecturer who shared your time, knowledge, and passion, thank you for making those almost two months count. And to my friend who never stopped encouraging me to take the boards this year and enroll at CBRC, thank you for being one of the people God used to lead me here. RN @ 35. A dream delayed, but never forgotten. A journey of tears, sacrifices, prayers, and grace—and finally, a dream fulfilled. All glory belongs to You, Lord. Soli Deo Gloria. 🙏🏻
