Title of Research: "Motivation, Engagement, and Mastery: A Qualitative Study of Wayground in Game-Based Pedagogy"

Their insightful work underscores the power of gamified learning in strengthening student motivation, engagement, and mastery through purposeful teacher facilitation.

📢 Presentation Alert

Congratulations to Mr. Leonardo Quimson Jr., Junior High School CLVE/GMRC Teacher, for presenting his research paper, "Echoes of Christ: A Revisit on Catechesis in Relation to Current Challenges in Religious Education," at the University of South Africa (UNISA) via Zoom last July 17–21, 2026.

His research reexamines the Church's understanding of catechesis in addressing the challenges of contemporary religious education. It highlights the importance of Christ-centered, holistic, and authentic faith formation that equips learners to live, celebrate, and share their faith in today's rapidly changing world.

Congratulations, Mr. Quimson, on this meaningful contribution to Catholic education and educational research. Your achievement brings pride and inspiration to the Lasallian community!

Isang taos-pusong pagbati kay G. Erdy Freian Falcutila, G**o sa Filipino 10, sa matagumpay niyang presentasyon ng kanyang papel na pinamagatang "Hermenyutika at Temporal na Pagsusuri sa Diskurso ng Pagkamakabayan ni Rizal sa Historikal-Pantaseryeng Maria Clara at Ibarra" sa Tatsulok: Pambansang Kumperensya sa Philippine Studies 2026, na ginanap noong Hunyo 18–19, 2026 sa Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Diliman.

Sinuri ng kanyang pag-aaral kung paano muling binibigyang-kahulugan ng Maria Clara at Ibarra ang pagkamakabayan ni Rizal sa pamamagitan ng adaptasyon, hermenyutika, at temporal na pagsusuri, na nag-uugnay sa mga isyung panlipunan ng ika-19 na siglo sa konteksto ng makabagong panahon.

Isang karangalang sumasalamin sa kanyang kahusayan sa pananaliksik at sa patuloy na pagtataguyod ng makabuluhang diskursong pangwika at pampanitikan. Binabati ka namin, G. Falcutila!

Leah Bitangcol sa matagumpay na presentasyon ng kanilang papel na pinamagatang "Isang Panimulang Pagsusuri sa Paggamit ng Wikang Filipino Bilang Midyum ng Instruksiyon sa Pagtuturo ng Matematika at Agham sa Sekondarya Gamit ang Lente ng Teoryang Linguistic Interdependence ni Cummins" sa 9th International Conference on Asian and Philippine Studies na ginanap noong Mayo 28–30, 2026 sa Cagayan de Oro City.

Ipinakita ng kanilang pananaliksik na ang paggamit ng Wikang Filipino ay nagpapalalim sa pag-unawa ng mga mag-aaral sa Matematika at Agham, nagpapataas ng kumpiyansa at aktibong pakikilahok ng mga mag-aaral at nagsusulong ng mas inklusibo at makabuluhang pagkatuto.

Ipinakita ng kanyang pananaliksik kung paano nakatutulong ang panitikang pambata sa pagpapalawak ng pag-unawa sa iba't ibang anyo ng pamilya, pagsusulong ng pagkakapantay-pantay, at paglinang ng kultura ng pagtanggap at paggalang sa pagkakaiba-iba.

We proudly congratulate Michael James Drilon, Grade School Mathematics Teacher, for presenting the research, “Promoting Inclusivity through UDL in the Mathematics Classroom,” at the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference held on June 2–4, 2026, at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The study was co-authored by Dr. Fred Talaue.

The research highlights the transformative power of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework in creating inclusive and engaging mathematics classrooms where all learners can thrive. By fostering greater confidence, participation, collaboration, and motivation among students, the study demonstrates how innovative and learner-centered pedagogies can advance equitable education for diverse learners and contribute to the ongoing pursuit of educational excellence.
