Today, we celebrate the courage, unity, and freedom that define our nation. As leaders of our own lives, let us honor the sacrifices of our heroes by living out the principles of integrity, responsibility, and service to others.

We are reminded to 𝘽𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 and 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙒𝙞𝙣-𝙒𝙞𝙣 as we contribute to building a stronger and more compassionate Philippines.

𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚: 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧

For two meaningful days, our STSS Faculty and Staff came together to strengthen relationships, deepen collaboration, and renew our commitment to our shared mission of transforming lives through quality and relevant education.

Through engaging activities, meaningful conversations, and leadership-building experiences, we were reminded that true leadership begins with the heart and is sustained by a clear sense of purpose. As one team, we celebrated our strengths, embraced opportunities for growth, and reinforced the bonds that make our learning community stronger.

This experience reflects 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝟲: 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘇𝗲, working together to achieve more than we could alone, and 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝟳: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘄, investing in our personal and professional growth so we can better serve our students and one another.

Last June 3, 2026, the STSS Faculty participated in an enriching professional development session on the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 as part of our preparations for School Year 2026–2027.

Facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗚𝗹𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, the training provided valuable insights into innovative literacy practices, engaging instructional resources, and effective strategies for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.

The session inspired our educators to continuously enhance their teaching practices and create meaningful learning experiences that nurture confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.

In the spirit of Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw, our faculty members dedicated time to strengthening their professional knowledge and skills. Through continuous learning and collaboration, we renew our commitment to providing quality education and helping every learner reach their highest potential.

As we prepare for the opening of School Year 2026–2027, we continue to sharpen our minds, refine our craft, and pursue excellence in teaching and learning.

Last June 2, our faculty and staff continued their leadership development journey through the 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 and the 𝟰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝟰𝗗𝗫) facilitated by Mr. Red Garcia of Franklin Covey Philippines.

The session centered on identifying our 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨 (𝙒𝙄𝙂𝙨), the goals that deserve our greatest focus because they have the power to make the biggest difference. Through the Leader in Me framework, participants reflected on how keeping the end in mind and focusing on the most important priorities can lead to meaningful and measurable results.

As we continue to build a culture of leadership at STSS, we remain committed to empowering every educator to lead, inspire, and help students discover their unique greatness.

Last June 1, 2026, the STSS Faculty and Staff gathered at the STSS Washington Campus for the first day of our In-Service Training Program in preparation for School Year 2026–2027.

Led by our School President, Ms. Gracielle Marie Clarito-Velasco, participants engaged in meaningful learning sessions on:
🔹 The Golden Circle Theory
🔹 Building a Culture of Excellence
🔹 Writing a Personal Mission Statement

The training challenged everyone to reflect on their purpose, discover their "WHY," and align their daily actions with the mission of providing quality Catholic and transformative education.

In the spirit of 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝟳: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘄, our faculty and staff took time to invest in their personal and professional growth. Through learning, reflection, and collaboration, they strengthened their capacity to lead, inspire, and serve the STSS Learning Community with excellence.

As we continue preparing for the new school year, we remain committed to sharpening our skills, nurturing our leadership, and living out our mission with passion and purpose.
