National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) Successfully Conducted at San Francisco Elementary School
The School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on June 18, 2026. The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness and awareness of learners, teachers, and school personnel in responding effectively during earthquake emergencies.
Through the drill, participants practiced the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and followed established evacuation protocols to ensure safety in the event of a real earthquake. The activity highlighted the importance of disaster preparedness, presence of mind, and coordinated response in protecting lives during emergencies.
We extend our appreciation to all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, SPTA Officers, parents, and to the Brgy. Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee (BDRRMC) of San Francisco for their cooperation and active participation in making this activity a success.
Together, let us continue to promote a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience in our school community.

BUILDING BRIDGES: A General Orientation for Parents
SAN FRANCISCO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL welcomes families at annual General Parent Orientation for SY 2026–2027
BINAN CITY, LAGUNA — To strengthen the vital connection between home and classroom, SFES officially launched School Year 2026–2027 by hosting its annual General Orientation for Parents and Guardians at the School Covered Court on June 11, 2026.
The general assembly drew a massive turnout of enthusiastic parents and guardians eager to collaborate with the school administration for the new academic year.
The orientation aimed to align parental expectations with the school's vision, present academic policies, and discuss safety and student welfare programs for the upcoming year.
The event opened with an inspiring address from School Principal, Sir Delio E. Escaño, who welcomed and emphasized the theme of active partnership in the post-pandemic digital age.
During the primary plenary session, school coordinators briefed families on updated academic curriculums, grading systems, and student welfare policies. Key discussions also centered on enhanced campus safety measures and modern digital tools integrated for student learning this year.
The event concluded with an interactive Open Forum, allowing parents to clarify schedules and student guidelines directly with the school administration. Families then moved to respective classrooms for homeroom orientations and the election of new Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officers.

Class advisers facilitated the election of the Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HPTA) officers and discussed specific classroom rules.

Ika-2 ng Hunyo 2026, ganap na ika-8:00 ng umaga, matagumpay na isinagawa ng San Francisco Elementary School ang Culminating Activity ng Summer ARAL Remediation Program, bilang pagtatapos ng isang buwang masigasig na paglinang sa kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagbasa, pagsulat, at pagbibilang.
Sinimulan ang programa sa isang taimtim na panalangin na sinundan ng pag-awit ng makabayang awitin bilang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa bayan at pagkakaisa ng buong paaralan. Sa ngalan ng punongg**o ng paaralan na si G. Delio E. Escaňo, opisyal na binuksan ang programa ni Ms. Marie Joy B. Saquido, ARAL Coordinator, sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mensahe ng pasasalamat at pagkilala sa lahat ng naging katuwang sa tagumpay ng programa.
Nagbigay rin ng inspirasyonal na mensahe si Hon. Allan Lerpido, Barangay Committee on Education Chairperson, kung saan kanyang binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng komunidad upang suportahan ang edukasyon at patuloy na pagkatuto ng mga kabataan.
Nagkaroon ng mga makabuluhan at masayang learning games na inihanda ng mga g**o upang higit pang masukat at mapaunlad ang literacy at numeracy skills ng mga bata. Kabilang dito ang “SWAT the CVC Words”, na humahasa sa kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa pagkilala at pagbasa ng mga salita, at ang “Tic-Tac-Toe Using the Four Fundamental Operations”, na nagpapaunlad naman ng kanilang kasanayan sa mga batayang operasyon sa matematika. Ang mga gawaing ito ay nagbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga mag-aaral na matuto habang nagsasaya.
Binigyan din ng pagkilala ang mga mag-aaral na matagumpay na nakibahagi at nakatapos ng Summer ARAL Remediation Program mula Mayo 6 hanggang Hunyo 2, 2026. Kinilala rin ang mga Volunteer Tutors mula sa SPTA Officers, SELG Officers, Public Employment Service Office (PESO), at mga g**ong buong pusong naglaan ng kanilang oras, kaalaman, at dedikasyon upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral sa literacy at numeracy.
Nagbigay naman ng kanyang pangwakas na mensahe si Ms. Jackie Lou S. Testado, Faculty President, binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng pagtutulungan ng paaralan, mga magulang, at komunidad sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa pagkatuto ng bawat bata. Nagpahayag din siya ng pasasalamat sa lahat ng naging bahagi ng programa at hinikayat ang mga mag-aaral na ipagpatuloy ang kanilang magandang natutunan sa susunod na taong panuruan.
Ang matagumpay na pagtatapos ng Summer ARAL Remediation Program ay patunay na sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, dedikasyon, at malasakit, mas marami pang mag-aaral ang matutulungang maabot ang kanilang buong potensyal.
