Westeners, the wait is over! March 6, 2026, our campus showed off student inventions for the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮. Our Grade 11 STEM students from Alcaraz, Biyo, and Del Mundo proudly represented the future of disaster preparedness. Under the Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (DRRR) subject, these young innovators have theories into life-saving.

The 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐋𝐏𝐂) 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 together with 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎) successfully held a fun and meaningful learning event at Langkiwa Elementary School! 💚✨

the Youth for Environment in Schools - Organization in partnership with Think Like a Proton - Science Club, Sangguniang Barangay ng Langkiwa, and Langkiwa Elementary School, this outreach program unites us in supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨.

From getting our hands dirty in gardening to exploring exciting environmental discoveries at the science exhibition, every moment is designed to inspire young minds, build discipline, and grow future leaders who care BIG for our planet.

Guided by their subject instructor and project proponent, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐨, under the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗥) subject, the students transformed classroom lessons into a meaningful real-world solution. Through research, collaboration, and hands-on engineering, they developed a device designed to promote safety and preparedness during earthquakes. ⚠️

The Science Investigatory Project (SIP) of 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝟏𝟏 – 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐳, 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐨 was organized with a clear objective: to assess students’ mastery of scientific research processes, application of concepts across Mathematics and Computation, Robotics and Intelligent Machines, Science Innovation, Physical Science, and Life Science categories, and evelopment of skills including creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

‎The purpose of the initiative was to provide students with a platform to design, implement, and present original research addressing real-world or discipline-specific problems, and to foster interest and proficiency in STEM through hands-on investigative work.

‎With the guidance and support of 𝐌𝐫. Leonard Manalo, the students presented their research with confidence and demonstrated their understanding of scientific concepts and real-world applications.
