In a short period of time having tutorials with you,Liam are quite challenging but your sweetness and smartness made moments so special with you. I do hope we'll have more time together as I have seen you grasp the things I teach and tell you to do. Take care little one and maybe soon we'll have this again.

Reunion with these tutees. It's really good to see them again. I started tutorial with them when they were grade 3 for 3 years and grade 4 for 2 years. They are now in Senior high, stepping in to college next year. How time really flies. I just love how we had this kind of relationship that I can still connect with them.❤️

An accomplishment worth sharing. This is Hannah, a 9 year old tutee of mine. When I started teaching her at the start of the school year she was quite a challenge. She doesn't like studying and pushing her to do things. She even has a mindset that a test is just a paper and it's not that important. 'I quit' was her constant words when she doesn't want to answer and frown when she's tired and bored. I patiently dealt with it in changing the words 'I quit' to 'I'll try', made her study more fun and exciting with random stories in between just letting her express herself and laugh together, affirm and encourage her a lot of times that she's good and smart, disciplined her with the 5-counts to avoid excuses and of course giving rewards for doing great in school.
Today, her mom proudly informed me that she made it at the honor list this 2nd quarter. Her first time on years of schooling. As a tutor,I really felt so accomplished and excited to see what she can do more and of course her parents too.
Even then,it was always my desire to teach children with a holistic approach. I just don't instruct only on lessons but introduce values and discipline. With this kind of mindset, I help parents in their children's development since I myself is also a mom of 3 and been teaching diverse kids for more than 3 decades now.
Thanking God for every opportunity given to me to do the best I can to help kids strive well in school with values and character instilled.

They are not only a tutee to me,they are considered as my own children. Andrei was my tutee since grade 4 until Grade 7. He stopped tutorial for he wanted to be independent with his studies yet from time to time I still check on him how he is doing in school and his personal life. Thank God for the opportunity of knowing and guiding him once in a while. I still love talking and asking him the hard questions.
