"The worst thing that we can do as women is not stand up for each other, and this is something we can practice every day, no matter where we are and what we do—women sticking up for other women, choosing to protect and celebrate each other instead of competing or criticizing one another." – Amal Clooney

Women Empower, Women Together

Over the last thirty years we have witnessed the incredible power of women every day. In the face of inequality and conflict, the women survivors of war we work with rise up and transform not only their own lives but their whole communities.

They have the , and so do you! The power to make a small but mighty difference lies within all of us. Invest in your own power, invest in women’s power, and together we can change the world.

"Ladies, don't let anybody ever tell you that you are past your prime." – Michelle Yeoh's Oscars acceptance speech

Women's Empowerment Against Ageism

It is a rallying cry against the pervasive ageism that women face in the workplace. Despite having a higher life expectancy than men, women are still subjected to lower retirement ages and discriminatory practices based on their age — a common practice labeled as ageism.

Ageism refers to the stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination that people face in the workplace based on their age. Older women are especially vulnerable to ageism and are often told (silently) they are "too old" for certain opportunities, while men are allowed to continue advancing in their careers well into their 60s and beyond.

We must work together to break down the barriers of ageism and create a society where women can thrive and achieve their full potential, regardless of their age.

Michelle Yeoh's words serve as a reminder that women should never let anyone tell them they are past their prime, but instead, should continue to challenge themselves and reach for new heights in their careers.

"There's something so special about a woman who dominates in a man's world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer." – Rihanna

Women Must Be Empowered!

In this predominantly male society, empowering women involves supporting them socially, psychologically, and most importantly for themselves, realizing their own value and ability to make their own decisions. Discrimination and violence they faced earlier especially in ancient times are really challenging. They are not meant equal with men in the field of education; they have to sit at home and look after household chores. Women started, established, represented, forecasted, battled for the privileges, and for the people groups. These are the women altered out of history, their accounts discarded, twisted, and supplanted with a perpetual reiteration of men. Women’s obliviousness of these ladies is enormously exacerbated by the oversight of data on social orders which concurred with a female's power in open life, tact, religion, prescription, human expressions just as family structure and legacy. Both prejudice and sexism are involved in these hushes and holes.

"I raise my voice—not so that I can shout, but so that those without a voice can be heard...we cannot all succeed when half of us are held back." – Malala Yousafzai

Let Your Voice be Heard

Women have played a significant role in shaping the world as we know it today. Despite facing numerous obstacles and setbacks, women have overcome them and made remarkable progress in various fields. Therefore, it is essential to encourage and uplift women so that they can continue breaking the barriers and shatter glass ceilings. It is crucial to remind women that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to, regardless of the obstacles in their way. As a society, we must recognize and appreciate the strength and resilience of women. By empowering and uplifting women, we are not only driving progress towards gender equality but also creating a better future for generations to come.

"It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent." – Madeleine Albright

SPEAK UP, THEY'LL LISTEN

Because we are females living in a society dominated by men, our viewpoints, ideas, and points of view are frequently ignored or regarded as of little importance. Women's rights are protected by law, but that does not imply that people respect our rights. Girls' gender is treated differently, and just because they were born female, their rights are taken away. Because of their gender, many girls are still judged or treated poorly. Our voices are important because we ought to be able to speak up when we think something is wrong or are being treated unfairly. People should not be allowed to ignore what we are saying.

"A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform." – Diane Mariechild

A Woman's Ascension

It's all about presence, individuality, and sisterhood. Accepting the many distinct elements of femininity; embracing the many varied expressions of femininity; and acknowledging that feminine energy exists in everyone. Life and creativity pass through her. It is our responsibility to hold space for her and to enable her to adapt and evolve. When we empower women, we allow life to thrive. It's not about being better or stronger than men. It is returning to our origins, returning to our mother, and understanding the special strength that woman's energy possesses, which gives birth to our thoughts and gives life to our dreams.

"Women don’t need to find a voice, they have a voice, and they need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen." – Meghan Markle

The "Thing" about Women Empowerment

Feminist movements have been quickly developing and revolving ever since women began expressing their voices and being recognized persons in their own right. In the past, women were not permitted to manage their finances, pursue higher education, or have access to reproductive information. Women have broken boundaries in business and demonstrated that there are no restrictions on what they may achieve. Women's empowerment in today's society refers to enabling women to actively engage in society's economic, political, and social environments without facing discrimination based on their gender. Women are reducing gender bias and leading lives free from dominance and subjugation. Thankfully, change has finally happened, and women are leading a movement in making society realize the importance of women's rights.
