UPH-DJGTMU Scientists Shine in the 2026 AD Scientific Index!

The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna | University of Perpetual Help – Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University celebrates its scientists for their outstanding recognition in the 2026 Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index, a global ranking that measures research impact through h-index, citations, and productivity.

The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) ranks among the Top 14 institutions nationally, Top 11 among Philippine HEIs, and Top 5 private HEIs in the country while also standing as the No. 1 private HEI in CALABARZON and No. 1 HEI in Laguna.

Leading the recognized scientists is Prof. Maria Nilda Muñoz (Ranks 41, Philippines), together with Dean Marifel Sison, Dr. Rufo Calixtro Jr., Dr. Ma. Lindie Masalinto, and Dr. Ponciano Epino.

Following the announcement of the provincial and local government, face-to-face classes are suspended from October 14 to 31, 2025. Medical University classes will shift to ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS mode during this time.

Please be informed that there will be an adjustment of the academic calendar to make sure that the number of face-to-face class days required for mastery of all clinical skills and subject matter is met.

Please coordinate with your program deans for the final arrangements of internship/clerkship duties and re-scheduling of academic activities.

Offices will remain open.

In observance of Holy Week, there will be an Academic Break from April 14 to 16, 2025 for all students and employees. This short break would provide a crucial opportunity for every Perpetualite to prioritize their mental health and spiritual well-being. This shall provide us ample time to go home, reconnect with love ones and engage in meaningful Holy Week observances.

Regular activities and office transactions will resume after the Holy Week observance.
