On October 19, 2024, following the "Educators for Others" plenary session, the School of Education visited the Ateneo Art Gallery, the first modern art museum in the Philippines. The gallery’s diverse collection of contemporary Filipino art highlights the rich cultural heritage and creativity of local artists.

This experience deepened their appreciation for the arts and reinforced the value of integrating creativity and cultural awareness into their future educational practices.

On October 19, 2024, LCCBn College Dean, Program Head of School of Education, and alumna of Ateneo de Manila University, Dr. Edna T. Sebastian, along with fourth-year Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English, participated in the "Educators for Others" plenary sessions at Ateneo de Manila University, Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design.

The President of Ateneo de Manila University, Fr. Roberto "Bobby" Yap, SJ, presented Conversation Starter 1: Ateneo Hopes and Dreams which also delved into the Two Giant Pandora's Boxes (Thomas L. Friedman, columnist, The New York Times, 2 May 2023): We are lifting the lids on two giant Pandora’s boxes at the same time, without any idea of what could come flying out. These two giant Pandora’s boxes are Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change.

Meanwhile, Dr. Carmela Oracion, Director of Ateneo Center for Educational Development and Member, Higher Education & Teacher Education and Development EDCOM II imparted in Conversation Starter 2: Issues & Challenges in Philippine Education.
The event also highlighted how Jesuit education fosters holistic development, focusing on four key characteristics: practical (preparing students for real-world challenges), social (promoting community engagement), humanities (cultivating critical thinking and cultural awareness), and religious (nurturing spiritual growth and ethical values).
These discussions helped LCCians in embracing a more comprehensive approach to teaching, ensuring students grow as compassionate, well-rounded individuals ready to make a difference.
