𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮'𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀

We are proud to share that Cavite State University – Carmona Campus was recognized during the General Assembly of the Carmona Tourism Council and the Carmona Guild of Local Artists held today, December 18, 2025, at Cleo by the Blue Leaf.

This award acknowledges the University's relentless support to the City Government of Carmona’s efforts to advance the tourism sector in the city.

Representing the campus at the assembly were 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗟. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, who personally received the prestigious recognition. This milestone is a testament to the active participation and dedicated involvement of our Hospitality Management program, which continues to play a vital role in fostering local growth and excellence in the industry.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the City Government of Carmona, headed by 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔. 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗹𝗮, for this appreciation. This fuels our commitment to continue collaborating and contributing to the vibrant culture and tourism of our beloved city.

The Department of Hospitality Management, headed by Dr. Joan L. Fortuna, together with the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) Program led by Mr. Klenton R. Torrevillas, extends its deepest gratitude to the AACCUP Accreditation Team for their time, dedication, and valuable insights during the recently concluded accreditation visit.

Your constructive feedback and recommendations inspire us to continue striving for excellence in hospitality education.

This milestone reaffirms our commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and delivering transformative learning experiences to our students.

We’re proud to share that the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Progress Report of the Department of Hospitality Management – CvSU Carmona Campus is now available on our official website.

This report highlights how our programs, research, and community engagements contribute to global goals such as quality education, decent work, sustainable tourism, responsible consumption, and climate action.

Through this report, we affirm our commitment to sustainability and inclusive growth, proving that education and hospitality can truly change lives and communities.
