Thirteen dedicated Scouts proudly received their Advancement Rank as Explorer rank during the Court of Honor at the 2nd Merit Awarding Ceremony. The achievement was made more meaningful as the ranks were pinned by Sr. Marian C. Ladrera, RSM, MMS and earned through the guidance and commitment of BSP Coordinator Mr. Patrick M. Santolorin.

The Cathedral School of Naval โ€“ Boy Scouts of the Philippines (CSN-BSP) proudly participated in the Provincial BSP Patrol and Crew Leaders Training Courses held on September 27โ€“28, 2025, at the BSP Biliran Council Headquarters, Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran.

A total of 14 enthusiastic scouts represented our school, guided and supervised by their dedicated BSP Coordinator, Mr. Patrick M. Santolorin.

This leadership training aimed to strengthen the scoutsโ€™ skills in leadership, teamwork, and character formation, preparing them to become responsible and service-oriented young leaders in their respective patrols and crews.

Despite the rainy weather, the ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€ successfully conducted an earthquake drill yesterday as part of its ongoing commitment to safety and disaster preparedness. The drill was carried out in response to the recent series of earthquakes felt across the Philippines.

The activity was held under the directive of ๐‘บ๐’“. ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’“๐’Š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ช. ๐‘ณ๐’‚๐’…๐’“๐’†๐’“๐’‚, ๐‘น๐‘บ๐‘ด, ๐‘ด๐‘ด๐‘บ, School Directress/Principal, and supervised by Mr. Jayson Espejo-Student Affairs Coordinator, and Mr. Patrick Santolorin-BSP Coordinator, with the support and participation of the faculty, staff, and SSLG officers.

As part of the schoolโ€™s precautionary measures, students are encouraged to bring their own safety helmets to ensure personal protection during future drills or actual emergencies.

The school administration also expresses its gratitude to the parents for their continued support and cooperation in promoting a culture of safety and readiness among the learners.

Even under the rain, the entire school community demonstrated discipline, awareness, and unityโ€”proving that preparedness and safety come rain or shine.
