𝗕𝗶𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗥-𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) Biliran Campus recently inaugurated its new 3-storey DENR-Compliant Building on February 27, 2026. The event coincided with a visit from Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner, Michelle Aguilar-Ong.

The building is part of BiPSU's efforts to enhance its facilities and provide a better learning environment. It showcases the university's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, aligning with its goal to gain international recognition for research, innovation, and community advancement.

Under President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo Jr., BiPSU has upgraded its infrastructure and completed several projects with high consideration on balancing between progress and environmental sustainability.. The new building is expected to support academic programs, especially those related to environmental science and conservation.

𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗨𝗣: 𝗕𝗶𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶-𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗼

The School of Agri-Industries and Forest Resource Management (SAINaRM) recently launched its new official logo, designed by Jerry S. Cabaltierra from the Department of Agribusiness Management. The winning design was chosen from 16 entries, with Kristian Ed Nartea and Marco D. Silvano both from the Department of Agriculture taking second and third place, respectively. All winners received a cash prizes.

The new logo embodies sustainability and unity, featuring four interconnected sections representing Agribusiness, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. The gear-like shape signifies industry and innovation, while the seedling represents growth. The bark texture and curve evoke raw materials and aquatic life. A palm frond symbolizes development, and the center circle represents a shared vision for a sustainable future.

The logo conveys a powerful message: sustainability is at the core of everything SAINaRM does.
