‎Following their impressive performance during the campus elimination round, the top three winners of the BISU Bilar Statistics Quiz — Jherica Ceroy (BSCS), Alyssa Faye Gamutin (BSEd Math), and Kaye Pilepog (BSABE)—together with their coaches Mr. Albert A. Suarez, MSc., and Mr. Real A. Baguin, MAEd., proudly represented the BISU Bilar Campus at the Provincial Level of the National Statistics Quiz held at Tagbilaran City College. The trio demonstrated exceptional analytical skills and statistical knowledge as they competed against other campuses across Bohol.

𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐌 𝟏𝐀 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐒𝐜𝐢-𝐘𝐚𝐰 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

BSHM 1A dazzled the crowd as they clinched 1st Place in this year’s MathSci-Yaw Competition, held in the afternoon during the Science and Math Month Culmination. The event, which featured dance presentations creatively incorporating mathematical symbols and concepts, brought together nine participating groups.

With their innovative choreography and energetic performance, BSHM 1A secured 1st Place in the competition. BEED 3 claimed the 2nd place while BSED-English 3 earned 3rd place.

The competition served as an opportunity for students to showcase their skills and creativity, proving that learning can go beyond the classroom and be celebrated in meaningful and engaging ways.

Designed to test problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, the event featured a series of challenges that blended logic and strategy. Participants demonstrated not only their mastery of concepts but also their ability to apply knowledge in dynamic and practical ways.

‎The Science and Math Month 2025 officially concluded on October 3, with the theme, “𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬.”The month-long celebration emphasized the vital role of science and mathematics in fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.
