Please be informed that the school will conduct a Symposium on Digital Citizenship tomorrow. This activity aims to promote responsible, ethical, and informed use of digital platforms and technology among members of our academic community.

In this regard, attendance is strictly mandatory for all parents of Preschool to Grade 10 students, as well as for students from Grades 6 to 10. The presence and participation of both parents and students are highly encouraged, as the discussions will provide valuable insights on online responsibility, digital safety, and proper conduct in the digital environment.

The program will commence promptly at 8:00 AM at the Function Hall. All attendees are expected to arrive at least a few minutes before the scheduled time to ensure the smooth and orderly flow of the program. Students from Grades 6 to 10 are required to wear their prescribed P.E. uniform.

Your full cooperation and punctuality are greatly appreciated.

Today, we wear a mark that the world might see as a sign of mortality, but we wear it as a sign of belonging. Ash Wednesday is not just a date on the calendar; it is a quiet, profound invitation to pause and breathe in the midst of a noisy world.

When the ashes are placed on our foreheads, we are reminded of a simple, humbling truth: "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." It is a moment of honesty. It strips away the titles we chase, the possessions we gather, and the masks we wear. It reminds us that at our core, we are fragile, we are human, and we are deeply in need of a love greater than ourselves.

Dear Dominicans, the 40-day journey of Lent begins here. It is a season not of punishment, but of polishing. It is an opportunity to clear away the "dust" of distraction, resentment, and ego that has settled on our souls over the past year. It is a time to mend the broken pieces of our hearts and return to the things that truly matter โ€” faith, compassion, and a selfless love for one another.

As we begin this walk through the wilderness toward the light of Easter, let us do so with open hands and soft hearts. Let us be kinder to ourselves and more generous to those around us. Let the ashes remind us that life is fleeting, making every moment of grace, every act of forgiveness, and every prayer of gratitude infinitely more precious.

"Even now," declares the Lord, "return to me with all your heart." โ€” Joel 2:12

As we mark eighty-four years of faith, service, and grace, we give thanks for the foundation of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. Throughout the decades, the Diocese has stood as a steadfast witness to Godโ€™s love โ€” nurturing the faith of His people and guiding them toward spiritual growth and Christian discipleship.

This anniversary stands as a tribute to the unwavering dedication of the clergy, religious, and lay faithful who have tirelessly worked to strengthen the Churchโ€™s mission. From its humble beginnings to its flourishing presence today, the Diocese remains a beacon of hope and a channel of Godโ€™s enduring mercy.

Let this commemoration inspire us to live out our faith with renewed zeal, to serve our communities with compassion, and to continue building a Church that reflects the light of Christ in every heart.
