𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 🙏

South City Homes Academy 𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔 on October 3, 2025, to seek 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 for our students and teachers.

The mass was enriched by the participation of our 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝑱𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒂 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 from Grade 10 Ruby and 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒂 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒛𝒂 from Grade 12 STEM A, who proclaimed the 𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐚, 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧, 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧. The SCHA choir also graced the celebration with their 𝒖𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔.

Father opened the mass with 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒔 of the earthquake in Cebu, emphasizing the importance of 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 in times of crisis. He encouraged the community to remain 𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝. Following the mass, the school honored its 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 in celebration of 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔' 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉, recognizing their 𝒖𝒏𝒘𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 to educating and nurturing our students.

February 27, 2025 | Thanksgiving Mass of South City Homes Academy Inc. 41st Founding Anniversary.

The Holy Mass at South City Homes Academy Inc., presided over by Rev. Fr. Robert John Comia, OSJ, emphasized the four T's — Thanksgiving, Trials, Triumph, and Transformation — representing the school's 41st Founding Anniversary. Throughout the years, students, teachers, and administrators have faced numerous challenges, celebrated achievements, and embraced change together.

These four T's serve as a reminder that every step of the journey shapes us, inspiring us to move forward, grow stronger, and transform into the best version of ourselves.

First Friday Mass | February 7, 2025

South City Homes Academy, Inc. gathered once again for our First Friday Mass, led by Rev. Fr. Rex Alday, OSJ. In his homily, Fr. Rex emphasized the importance of being good and righteous individuals, connecting it to today’s Gospel message. Would you tolerate something wrong for the sake of relationships or approval, or would you stand firm in doing what is right, even when it’s difficult?

Just like in the Gospel, where Jesus reminds us to stay true to God's teachings despite the challenges we face, we are called to make decisions that reflect our faith and values. True goodness isn’t about pleasing others—it’s about upholding the truth and living with integrity. Sometimes, choosing what is right means standing alone, but it also means standing with God.

This Mass reminded us that our actions define who we are. In school and in life, we are faced with choices every day. May we always choose honesty over convenience, kindness over indifference, and truth over acceptance.

December 06, 2024 | Hope and Love in the Season of Advent

South City Homes Academy Inc. gathered to celebrate a Holy Mass. The mass led by Rev. Fr. Rex Alday, OSJ.

In his inspiring homily, Fr. Rex emphasized the importance of generosity and having a pure heart in giving and receiving blessings, especially from the Lord.

The mass was offered also for the good health of students, parents, teachers, and the entire school administration.

May this celebration remind us that in this Advent season, the true essence of Christmas lies in love, unity, and selflessness.
