This meaningful experience helped strengthen our leadership skills and deepen our awareness of important social issues discussed by various speakers, such as environmental protection, mental health, teenage pregnancy, HIV and AIDS awareness, leadership, anti-drug campaigns, and anti-bullying advocacy.

Beyond learning, the convergence also opened opportunities to build friendships and connections with fellow youth leaders from different organizations and communities.

Truly, the event reflected the positivity, unity, and creativity of the youth as we continue to use our voices to inspire, educate, and lead others toward positive change. We are grateful to be part of this empowering gathering and we carry with us the lessons learned as we move forward in service to our school and community.

“Today, SSLG at Biñan City Senior High School – Timbao Campus, led by our dedicated adviser Ma’am Maribel M. Quimora, celebrates a meaningful National Children’s Month event. We were inspired by an opening message from Dr. Jocelyn G. Capacio, empowered by a talk on “My Rights as a Learner” from Marygold Manceras, and reminded of our Child Protection Policy by Guidance Advocate Sir Jonathan M. Abad. We also had a heartfelt recitation of the Panatang Makabata, led by Ma’am Nancy M. Cabaluna (Yes-O Adviser) and one of our class presidents, Jhamay Escodero. Our principal, Ma’am Eleonifebiatriz A. Marasigan, shared a warm message, and we closed with thoughtful remarks from Master Teacher I Sir Noli Parol. Today wasn’t just about celebration — it was a powerful reminder of our rights, our protection, and how much our voices matter. To reinforce this activity, SSLG prepared a Pledge Wall where students could write their personal commitments. 💙

Monthly Spiritual Gathering Strengthens Faith at Biñan City Senior High — Timbao Campus

On November 21, the Timbao Campus of Biñan City Senior High School held its regular monthly “Word of God” sharing session, bringing together students for a time of spiritual renewal. The gathering took place in a classroom where Mrs. Maribel M. Quimora, SSLG Adviser, led the session. She offered fervent prayers, specifically asking for many students to come to know and accept God’s love and salvation.

At the same time, a Mass was being celebrated on the school grounds, reinforcing the school’s commitment to both communal worship and personal spiritual formation. This dual-format approach, a classroom sharing paired with an outdoor Mass helps students engage with their faith in different but complementary ways.

This monthly activity has become a cherished tradition at Timbao Campus by the leadership of our Principal, Ma’am Eleonofebiatriz A. Marasigan, and Sir Jonathan Abad, our Guidance Advocate, serving as a consistent reminder of the school’s mission to nurture not just the academic but also the spiritual lives of its students. Through moments like this, the school cultivates a faith-filled community where students are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God and with one another.

Let us continue to pray and support these gatherings, that more students may be touched by God’s Word, and that the light of faith shines brightly across our campus.

Isang simpleng sorpresa ngunit puno ng taos-pusong pasasalamat ang naganap kanina sa Biñan City Senior High School Timbao Campus. Para sa kanyang huling araw sa paaralan, nagtipon-tipon ang mga kasamahan, kaibigan, at mga estudyanteng minsang naging bahagi ng kanyang kuwento upang magbigay ng munting regalo at hindi matatawarang pagpapahalaga.

Hindi man engrande, ang bawat ngiti at yakap ay naging paalala ng mga taong nabago at natulungan niya sa loob ng kanyang serbisyo. Isa itong sandaling nagpapatunay na ang tunay na yaman ng isang g**o ay hindi nasusukat sa taon ng paninilbihan, kundi sa dami ng pusong kanyang naantig. Maraming salamat po sa dedikasyon, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal na ibinahagi ninyo sa aming paaralan. Baon ninyo ang aming pinakamataas na respeto at walang hanggang pasasalamat.

The saints remind us that holiness is not reserved for a few, but is a calling for everyone. Each one of them lived differently, yet all shared one goal — to live a life centered on Christ. Their stories of sacrifice, service, and unshakeable faith continue to guide us in our own spiritual journeys. 🙏

We show our deepest appreciation to every teacher who poured their unweavering hearts in teaching. Your guidance taught us that true success comes with the courage to lead.
