SEAS Week was a meaningful celebration of creativity, confidence, and community—bringing together the vibrant spirit of the School of Education, Arts, and Sciences. From engaging activities and friendly competitions to inspiring speeches and outstanding performances, the week highlighted the passion and dedication of our students.

The celebration culminated in a lively Year-End Party with the theme “𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚,” where a mix of different occasions filled the venue with color, individuality, and fun—proving that diversity truly shines when we come together.

We witnessed nonstop excitement, creativity, and determination during the 𝑨𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. From challenging tasks to fast-paced problem-solving moments, teams gave their all, thinking on their feet, supporting one another, and pushing forward with confidence and grit. Every checkpoint became a test of focus, collaboration, and perseverance.

More than just a race, the Amazing Race was a celebration of 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. We saw leadership emerge, friendships strengthen, and resilience shine in every challenge conquered. Each laugh, cheer, and finish-line moment reminded us that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones. This highlight-filled event truly captured the spirit of SEAS Week—dynamic, engaging, and full of Michaelean pride.

Guided by the theme “Strengthening Education Adaptability for Success,” our BSED and BEED pre-service teachers take one of the most meaningful steps in their journey—the 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, a tradition that symbolizes the transition from learning about teaching to finally becoming part of the profession they aspire to serve.

This 𝐩𝐢𝐧 is more than an accessory; it is a reminder of purpose, compassion, and commitment. It reflects the countless hours of preparation, the challenges conquered, and the passion that fuels their desire to educate and inspire future learners.

From facilitators keeping the energy high to students confidently stepping up to answer, every moment was filled with excitement, quick thinking, and teamwork. Rapid-fire questions turned learning into a fun, hands-on challenge where focus, collaboration, and courage truly shined.

What made it unforgettable was the atmosphere—cheers after correct answers, laughter during close calls, and smiles when teamwork paid off. This year’s Family Feud was more than just a game; it was a celebration of active learning, confidence, and community.

The third day continues strong as we travel to Canada virtually for a 𝑻𝒆𝒕𝒆-𝒂-𝑻𝒆𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 with some Alumni educators from our home and pride!

Our guest speakers, Dr. Porfiria T. Pedriña, Ms. Phoebe Pedriña, Ms. Lynnette Navarro, and Mrs. Carmelita Espino, provided valuable insights and information to help us better prepare and equip ourselves as future educators. We also enjoyed some exciting games, and students shared their insights and takeaways from their discussions with the guest speakers. Some students also won prizes for answering questions during a quiz bee conducted by one of the speakers. ✨

This event offered students the opportunity to learn essential information on becoming better educators while having fun interacting with our guest speakers. It was a truly meaningful experience that blew us away!

The 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 held last December 11 at the Saint Beatrice Ballroom brought Psychology students together for a meaningful moment of reflection and connection. As part of the SEAS Week 2025 celebration, the session created a space to look back on the first semester’s experiences and learning.

Through shared stories and guided reflection, students revisited their best moments from the semester and acknowledged their growth. The activity also encouraged them to set clear and intentional goals as they prepare for the second semester.

𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗝𝗔 2025, held last December 11 at the Saint Beatrice Ballroom, served as a platform for Psychology students to share key learnings from the PAPJA Conference earlier this year. As part of the SEAS Week 2025 celebration, the event fostered meaningful discussions grounded in contemporary psychological issues.

Students explored a wide range of topics, from anxiety to situationships, translating conference insights into relatable and relevant conversations. The session highlighted the value of continued learning, knowledge-sharing, and student-led discourse in psychology.

As the first and second day rolled around, 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒔 from both our beloved and dedicated Education and Psychology students offered not only invigorating meals and snacks, but entertainment as well! Our fellow future educators and psychologists really gave it their all to give quality service to the visitors!

This year's 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀: 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 brought together Psychology students for an engaging group quiz bee last December 9 at the Saint Beatrice Ballroom. The competition tested participants on the major courses in psychology, highlighting both knowledge and quick critical thinking.

Through each round, students showcased their mastery of core psychological concepts and the depth of their learning across the discipline. The event celebrated academic excellence, collaboration, and the intellectual rigor that defines Psychology students.
