ICYMI | Campus Connect Strengthens Collective Voice of PUP Students

The PUP Office of the Student Regent successfully conducted Campus Connect on April 29, 2026, at the PUP Biñan Campus Main Building B Multimedia Center, bringing together student leaders for a meaningful and grounded dialogue on urgent national and institutional issues. The initiative, organized in coordination with the Central Student Council and local student leaders, aimed to strengthen student engagement and ensure that the voices of Iskolar ng Bayan are heard and represented.

The discussions centered on pressing concerns such as fare hikes, corruption, and the worsening education crisis, issues that directly affect students’ daily lives, access to education, and overall welfare. The activity underscored the need for heightened social awareness and collective action, reinforcing the role of student leaders in advancing the rights and interests of the academic community.

A campus-wide consultation followed, providing a platform for students to openly share their conditions, concerns, and lived experiences. These insights are crucial in shaping responsive, student-centered initiatives and policy recommendations that reflect the real situation on the ground.

Campus Connect reaffirms the continuing commitment of the PUP Office of the Student Regent to participatory leadership, grassroots consultation, and the empowerment of students as active agents of change. Strengthening unity and collective action remains essential in confronting the challenges faced by Iskolar ng Bayan.
