𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Family is the basic unit of our society, but it’s more than that. Family is where we find 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, and a 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 that nurtures our well-being. 🫂

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 reminds us to make time for the bonds that make a house a home. 🏠 A family isn't just found at home, it can be your 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 who supports you. 🫵🏻👥

That's why, 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 to appreciate your cherished family and tell them you love them! 🗣️❤️

Building a peaceful word starts with the small choices we make every day. Choosing empathy over conflict creates a ripple effect that begins right within our community. 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 we nurture together. 🕊️

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚 spreads awareness and celebrates the importance of our maritime heritage and the seas that surround us! September is 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, so let us take pride in our vast marine resources and our identity as a nation made up of thousands of islands. 🗾

As 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬, it is our responsibility to help protect our oceans and bodies of water, whether through 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹, 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 efforts! We should also recognize the crucial role of our maritime workers and professionals in promoting the safety, protection, and well-being of our waters, while supporting their valuable contributions to our maritime nation. 🫵

‎One of our 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 is to develop students who embody 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳 and 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 in their daily lives and live out what it means to be a “𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙.” ✝️ This was reflected in the experience of our two Senior High School students, 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒐 and 𝑲𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒚𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈, who chose honesty and integrity after finding a wallet containing a substantial amount of cash. Guided by kindness and responsibility, they promptly returned the lost wallet to the Student Affairs Office, leaving the contents untouched. 🙌
‎
‎As Perpetualites, we are guided to live out the 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺’𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴 in both words and actions. May their story remind us that even the simplest choices, when guided by honesty and integrity, can make a meaningful difference. 🫂

This 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, let us be reminded that peace is more than the absence of conflict, it is built through 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🤝

May we choose our words with care, listen with open hearts, and stand together in creating a community where everyone feels 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱. 🌏

While the games may have ended, the 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 will echo through our halls for a long time.
