✨ DIVERGENT 2.0: A Youth Leadership Journey ✨

This vacation turned into a meaningful journey of growth and empowerment for our young leaders! 💙

SELG Vice President Kendal Alexis Carpena, YES-O President Althea Samantila, YES-O Vice President Denize Sophia Cosido, BKD President Danielle Nicole D. Maniego, and BKD Treasurer Yuhanna Dinar M. Dequillo proudly represented Sto. Tomas Elementary School in Divergent 2.0: A Youth Leadership Journey—a transformative training initiated by the Biñan City Youth and Development Office.

Throughout the program, our student leaders actively participated in engaging workshops, leadership simulations, team-building activities, and meaningful discussions that strengthened their confidence, decision-making skills, and sense of responsibility. From collaborative challenges to inspiring talks, every moment was an opportunity to grow, connect, and lead with purpose.

This experience has truly equipped them with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to serve the school community with excellence in the upcoming School Year 2026–2027. 📚🌱

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Biñan City Youth and Development Office for organizing such an impactful initiative. Your commitment to empowering the youth plays a vital role in shaping future leaders who are ready to make a difference.

As they return, our delegates carry with them not just learnings, but a renewed passion to lead, inspire, and serve. 💫

🌸 Did You Know?
Every March, the Philippines celebrates National Women’s Month to recognize the important role and contributions of women in shaping society and the nation. The celebration highlights March 8 as International Women’s Day, a global event that promotes women’s rights and gender equality. Throughout history, many Filipina heroes have shown courage and leadership, such as Gabriela Silang and Melchora Aquino, also known as the “Mother of the Philippine Revolution.” Led by the Philippine Commission on Women, this month-long celebration encourages everyone to appreciate and support the achievements of women.
In support of this meaningful celebration, Sto. Tomas Elementary School proudly joins the nation in honoring and empowering women, recognizing their invaluable contributions in education, leadership, family, and community. 🌸
