Farmlit: Filipino Agricultural Redevelopment and Transformation Campaign

Reverence is the gesture that implicates great respect towards someone/thing. Though farmers show their vital role within our society in ensuring food security that contributes to country's economy, many instances portray that these lack the proper compensation that are sufficient to our farmer's daily needs. It should be very important to appreciate and respect farmers for their flabbergasting determination.

Filipino Agricultural Redevelopment and Transformation (FART) is a crucial initiative aimed at revitalizing the country's agricultural sector. The Philippines has a predominantly agricultural economy, with agriculture accounting for approximately 20% of the country's GDP and employing about 25% of the country's labor force. However, the sector has faced numerous challenges in recent years, including natural disasters, poor infrastructure, lack of financing, and outdated farming techniques (Balisacan et al., 2017).

To address these challenges and revitalize the sector, FART aims to implement a comprehensive set of policies and programs focused on modernizing the agricultural industry, improving farmers' productivity and income, and promoting sustainable farming practices.
