Through the collaborative efforts of the ICT Unit, Supply Unit, and CID-LRMS, the Schools Division Office of Isabela successfully conducted the Orientation on DCP Portal Utilization and LRMIS cm Workshop, including the presentation of guidelines on Learning Resource (LR) disposal.

Implemented in five batches, the activity brought together 888 AOs, School Heads, TICs, District and School ICT Coordinators, and School Librarians from the 46 districts of SDO Isabela.

More than an orientation, it served as a platform to strengthen resource management, promote accountability, and empower schools with the tools and knowledge needed to maximize available resources for quality education.

Ensuring that schools are ready and well-supported for the three-term school calendar, Atty. Suzette Gannaban-Medina, Director IV of the Bureau of Learning Resources (BLR), conducted monitoring visits in selected schools across the Schools Division of Isabela.

A highlight of the visit was Atty. Medina’s keen interest in personally overseeing the delivery of textbooks and examining the learning resources provided by the Central Office, reflecting her dedication to quality and accountability in supporting schools and learners.

The BLR Director also shared her office's initiative to procure laptops for teachers outside the scope of the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP), reflecting the Department's commitment to addressing the evolving needs of educators and strengthening learning delivery in schools.

Among the inspiring practices shared by teachers during the interview was the use of the Suhay Portal to bridge learning resource gaps, showcasing their resourcefulness and dedication to delivering quality education despite challenges.
