BNCHS Yes-O: Youth for Environment in School - Organization

BNCHS YES-O, together with the SHS General Science students and teachers and the supportive Barangay Taglatawan Officials, joined hands for the 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙥𝙩-𝘼-𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧: 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣-𝙐𝙥 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 held earlier at Taglatawan River, Bayugan City. 🏞️

The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and community involvement in preserving the cleanliness and natural beauty of our local rivers. It was a morning filled with teamwork, laughter, and purpose.

Let’s continue to protect and cherish our rivers for the generations to come. 💚

In our shared mission to protect the environment, the Bayugan National Comprehensive High School – Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (BNCHS-YES-O), in partnership with the Senior High School General Science Department and the Barangay Council of Taglatawan, will lead a River Clean-Up Activity this November 12, 2025, at Taglatawan River, Bayugan City. 🌱

This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, civic responsibility, and real-world application of practices in proper waste handling and disposal, all in line with DepEd and CENRO’s environmental programs. ♻

BNCHS YES-O proudly participated in the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, alongside representatives from various divisions across the region. The team showcased their “𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙫𝙨 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨” advocacy campaign — a call to reduce plastic use and protect our planet through meaningful environmental action. The event not only allowed them to promote their environmental initiative but also to gain valuable insights from various discussions and activities on climate action. 🌏

We extend our gratitude to the Schools Division Office of Bayugan City for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event. 💚

Last September 27, the BNCHS Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) officers and members, together with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Maygatasan NHS, successfully conducted a Clean-up Drive and Information Drive.

With the theme “𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨, 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝”, the activity highlighted the importance of proper waste management and environmental awareness as part of our shared responsibility in caring for our planet. 💚

Tomorrow, we’re not just picking up trash, we’re picking up hope. 🌱
𝗕𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 calls on hearts and hands to volunteer for 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, a clean-up and info drive that dares us to change our habits and heal our home.

Following the success of the 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲, the YES-O members conducted a 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡-𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 this morning, an initiative spearheaded by CENRO Bayugan. 🌳 Through this initiative, our members turned the lessons of the symposium into action, fostering environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the school community.

The 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 officially concluded with a series of insightful sessions focusing on waste management, seedling nurturing, and nursery practices. The event emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship and the role of sustainable leadership in addressing today’s ecological challenges.
