📢 Nutrition Month Culmination 2025 🎉🍎🥦
Last July 30, 2025, Cagbas Elementary School successfully celebrated the Nutrition Month Culmination with the theme “Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”
This highlights that access to safe, sufficient, and nutritious food is a fundamental human right and must be made a top priority by all sectors. The event was made even more meaningful through the presence and support of Barangay Nurse,Ma'am Genalyn Baldicantos and BLGU Representative, Hon. Eldefonso Pepito , the Education Committee Chairman.
A variety of classroom-based activities were held to engage pupils in different grade levels:
Kindergarten – Fruit and Vegetable Coloring Activity
Grades 1–3 – Nutri-Quiz
Grades 4–6 – Slogan Making, Poster Making, and Nutri-Quiz Bowl
These activities not only highlighted the importance of proper nutrition but also showcased the creativity and knowledge of our pupils.
On the following Monday, winners were awarded certificates and food prizes as a token of appreciation and encouragement. These rewards were generously sponsored by the Barangay Council of Barangay Cagbas , to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for their continued support to the school and community.
This celebration would not have been possible without the dedication of our teachers, the enthusiasm of our learners, and the unwavering support of our local leaders and partners. Together, we make nutrition a priority! 💚
