🥒 Beat the heat with a refreshing glass of cucumber juice! 😋 🌱🥤☀️

Our students harvested fresh cucumbers from the school garden and turned them into a refreshing and healthy cucumber juice. With the extremely hot weather today, this cool drink was truly a perfect treat! ☀️🥤 😎

Through this hands-on activity, students learned that the fruits of their hard work in the school garden can be transformed into something healthy, delicious, and refreshing. 🌱💚

🥬 Turning Challenges into Opportunities 🥪🥪

Nothing went to waste! 👍🫡
After harvesting the hydroponic lettuce affected by the extreme heat, our TechPro Agriculture students transformed the reject lettuce into delicious and nutritious tuna sandwiches. 🥪😋

Through this activity, the students learned the value of resourcefulness, food sustainability, and minimizing food waste. They discovered that produce may not always meet market standards, but it can still be safe, nutritious, and useful when prepared properly.

Every harvest is an opportunity to learn, create, and appreciate the importance of making the most of what we have. 🌱💚

🌿 Every Harvest is a Lesson 🌿

Our TechPro Agriculture students harvested hydroponic lettuce, including the reject produce affected by the recent extreme heat. Although some of the lettuce did not reach market quality, the experience became a valuable learning opportunity.

Through this activity, the students learned how environmental factors, especially high temperatures, can affect plant growth, quality, and yield. They also gained a deeper understanding of proper crop monitoring, harvest evaluation, and the importance of adapting farming practices to changing climate conditions.

In agriculture, even an imperfect harvest provides meaningful lessons that help develop knowledge, resilience, and practical skills. Every experience in the garden prepares our students to become more competent and responsible future agriculturists. 🌱💚

🪏🌱 Learning Today, Growing for Tomorrow! 🌿

Our TechPro Agriculture students enhanced their practical skills by learning the proper techniques of mulching in the school garden. Through this hands-on activity, they gained a deeper understanding of how mulching helps conserve soil moisture, suppress weeds, regulate soil temperature, and promote healthy crop growth.

This learning experience also serves as part of their preparation for the Agricultural Crop Production NC II Assessment, where they continue to develop the knowledge, skills, and work values needed to meet industry standards.
Every task completed brings them one step closer to becoming competent, confident, and future-ready agricultural professionals.

🌱 Learning by Doing! 🌱

Our Grade 10 Section Rizal learners had the opportunity to explore the TechPro Agriculture Hydroponic Nursery, where they were introduced to the fundamentals of hydroponic farming. Guided by Sir Reche Moquellanos Gama and assisted by our dedicated Grade 12 TechPro Agriculture students, they gained hands-on experience and valuable insights into modern agricultural practices.

Through this learning exposure, the students discovered how hydroponics allows crops to grow without soil, the importance of proper nutrient solutions, nursery management, and the benefits of sustainable farming. It was a meaningful experience that inspired them to appreciate innovation in agriculture and the value of collaborative learning.

Our TechPro Agriculture students gained valuable hands on experience as they learned the proper process of marcotting under the guidance of their teacher, Sir Aljurie R. Galos. Through this practical activity, students developed essential plant propagation skills while discovering how patience, precision, and proper techniques can produce healthy and productive plants.

The malunggay trees planted within the school grounds are now providing fresh, nutritious leaves for the teachers of Fili National High School. Rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and essential nutrients, malunggay is known for promoting overall health and wellness while serving as a sustainable source of fresh vegetables.
