Graduating Senior High School students from the AFA strand of Fili National High School actively participated in the application process for employment as collaborators during the launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair held on March 25, 2026, at the Lope A. Asis Gymnasium in Bayugan City.
Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo fair (BPSF) is a program created by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. Administration, which offers various financial assistant from government agencies like CHED, DepEd and TESDA.
Through this program, students could easily process or update essential documents such as birth certificates, IDs, and clearances needed for scholarships, or internshipsβall in one place.
Furthermore, it also supports students and graduates get access to job fairs, vocational training and career guidance so they can move easily from school to a job or continue studying.
They had also offered grant worth β±50,000.00 to qualified applicants for their business start-up, while Bayugan City Mayor Hon. Kirk A. Asis provided additional funding to applicants to support their enterprise.
This fair is not just a simple program for the students in Bayugan cityβit is their door for success and boundless opportunities.

Students happily harvested fresh eggplants from the school garden grown without the use of pesticides. This practice helps produce safer and healthier vegetables for consumption while protecting the environment and beneficial insects. It also keeps the soil healthy and ensures that students are not exposed to harmful chemicals. Growing eggplants without pesticides promotes safe, natural, and sustainable food production. π±π

Our students proudly celebrate their first supported harvest. Thank you to the Department of Agriculture Department of Agriculture - Caraga and City Agriculture Office Agriculture Bayugan for providing our hydroponics nursery, and to the teachers of Fili National High School for your very first patronage of our lettuce. Your support helps us buy more seeds and nutrient solutions so we can continue growing and learning. π±π

Our Grade 12 AFA students actively participated in hydroponic lettuce production, beginning with preparing the cocopeat as the growing medium, transferring healthy seedlings, and carefully mixing the nutrient solution to ensure proper plant growth. Through this hands-on activity, they enhanced their practical skills and deepened their understanding of sustainable and modern agricultural practices while growing fresh, quality lettuce. π±π₯¬π§
