PRAY | November 2 is ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ!
On this All Souls' Day, we find ourselves reminiscing and whispering the names of those who have gone before us as the light grows softer. We feel their presence most strongly in the little, shared thingsโthe aroma of a favorite recipe, a melody that unexpectedly fills the room, the silence that descends upon us when we are apart.
We therefore offer up a silent prayer today in honor of all the lovely, flawed, and incredibly loved souls that we carry with usโnot only today, but in a thousand small moments each day. They are incredibly valued, remembered, and missed.

All Saints' Day has always felt like a deep, comforting breath to us. Itโs that gentle, powerful reminder that we are all part of a story so much bigger than our own. Today, we get to honor the countless saintsโnot just the famous names in the prayer books, but the quiet, hidden ones, too. The ones who lived their faith with a courage that didn't need a spotlight. Each one of them was like a unique beacon, a little lighthouse, throwing out rays of God's love into the shadows of the world.
Let us reflect on how their stories still reach us today, inspiring us to choose kindness, courage, and compassion in our own lives.
Today, we remember our loved ones with gratitudeโthe holy ones who have gone before us. Their lives of hope, love, and joy are in our path and remind us of the eternal communion we share. May their prayers guide us and their example inspire us.

Every year on October 10, World Mental Health Day is observed as a reminder that there is no health without mental health. Mental health is the foundation of our ability to cope with life's stresses, realize our full potential, think, feel, and connect with others, and contribute to our community. It also encompasses our emotional, psychological, and social well-being and affects our daily lives, from how we handle stress to how we relate to people and make choices.
This year's theme for World Mental Health Day is "Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies". The theme emphasizes the need to ensure that mental health and psychosocial support is provided even during conflicts, disaster, climate change, and other emergencies.
The reason why this theme is important is because it raises awareness about humanitarian needs, focuses on the neglected aspects of crises, and focuses on universal needs.

October serves as a potent reminder that mental and physical health are equally vital. This mission is central to our daily work as young individuals and also as students and employees within the institution.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere of empathy and understanding on campus. Remember, it's okay to not be okay, and we are here to listen, support, and walk with you. This month, we encourage you to pause, check in with yourself and others, and know that seeking support is a sign of strength. Your mind matters, and you are never alone in your journey.
Let's make mental well-being a conversation we continue all year round!

As we celebrate the commitment of all the instructors and faculties, both past and present. We value your words of encouragement, your seemingly limitless patience, and your wisdom that transcends textbook pages.
You did not only teach us what to learn; you taught us how to be disciplined and eager to learn. Where we perceived bewilderment, you perceived opportunities, and shone the interest that endured a long run after we left your classroom.
Today, we celebrate you, dear faculty, administration, staff, and all mentor heroes every day. Your impact on a growing community helps the students to learn from you!

โWhen you make peace with yourself, you make peace with the world.โ
โ Maha Ghosananda
Today we celebrate the International Peace Day, which reminds us that peace is more than just the absence of conflict. This is an active decision, a daily reminder, and a courageous dedication to comprehension.
It's the compassion we show someone who has a different background. It's the kindness we have for both our earth and ourselves. The little things, like a polite conversation, a helping hand, or choosing to listen instead of argue, are what create true peace.
Imagine the life impact of a million tiny acts of peace today. Let's make a change and decision to use compassion to heal, to replace noise with meaningful dialogue, and to create a society in which everyone is treated with respect and a sustainable environment.
May we actively work to create a more harmonious world rather than envisioning it. Each of us is where the path to peace starts.

Silent battles are waged in the silence between smiles. Never undervalue the impact of your words or presence; they have the capacity to calm a storm.
Your story isn't finished, anyone who feels alone, fading, or invisible. This discomfort is temporary. Just as you are, you deserve support, love, and peace.
Wait a moment. Make contact. Call family, text a friend, or use the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline to have a trained professional hold space for you. Free. Private. all the time.
NVSU Peer Facilitators are here to support you this September. Our goals are to listen, offer support, and create a campus where no one faces hardships in silence. You belong to our community. You're welcome.
