𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲!

Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. has been elected Vice President of the DOST-PCAARRD Graduate Alumni Association (DPGAA) Inc. for the term 2026–2027, a testament to his longstanding commitment to research, innovation, and alumni engagement at the national level.

The election took place during the 5th DPGAA Biennial Convention held on November 26–27, 2025 in Malay, Aklan, where members of the association gathered to elect new leaders and strengthen collaborative efforts for advancing research and development in the country.

Dr. Dumale, who has served as a member of the DPGAA Board of Directors for four years, brings with him a wealth of institutional leadership and deep experience in research-based governance.

His election as Vice President is both a recognition of his exemplary contributions and a vote of confidence from fellow alumni who value his vision for a stronger, more connected R&D community.

According to the DPGAA Inc.’s Constitution and By-Laws, the elected Vice President automatically becomes the next President; thus, Dr. Dumale is set to serve as Association President for 2028–2029.

The DPGAA Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization of DOST-PCAARRD graduate scholars based at the Innovation and Technology Center in Los Baños, Laguna. Registered with the SEC since 2017, the Association works to strengthen the research and development community by promoting knowledge exchange, supporting national R&D initiatives, building local and international linkages, and fostering camaraderie among its members.

OVPAA ADVISORY | NCAT SCHEDULE

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, through the University Educational Testing Center (UETC), announces the schedule for the NVSU College Admission Test. NCAT online registration starts on December 2, 2025, through the official NCAT portal: ncat.nvsu.edu.ph.

With NVSU’s commitment to continual improvement, the UETC has streamlined the NCAT process. NCAT applicants are required to input/upload their Learner’s Reference Number, Complete Name (First, Middle [if applicable], and Family), Recent School ID, a recent 2x2 photograph with a white background, and the completed Principal’s Recommendation.

Likewise, the University will NOT be conducting NCAT for the Second Semester of 2025–2026.

REHISTRASYON PARA SA MGA ESTUDYANTENG LUBHANG NAAPEKTUHAN NG SUPER TYPHOON UWAN

Ang USSC Bay ay tumatanggap ng online at walk-in registration para sa mga NVSU students na matinding naapektuhan ng Bagyong Uwan. Ang pondo mula sa Mutual Aid ay ilalaan bilang financial assistance para sa mga kwalipikadong aplikante.

Bilang bahagi ng proseso, kailangan mag-enlist ang mga estudyante na naapektuhan at magpasa ng Certification mula sa Barangay na nagpapatunay sa kanilang kalagayan.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS:

Sino ang maaaring mag-apply?
Mga estudyante sa NVSU na:
- Nawalan o nasira ang bahay
- Napinsala ang mga gamit sa bahay
- Nawalan ng kabuhayan (livelihood)
- Nakaranas ng pagbaha na nagdulot ng malaking pinsala sa tirahan
- May namatayan dahil sa bagyo

Mga kailangang isumite:
1. Certification from Barangay/LGU patunay na ang estudyante ay biktima o nasalanta ng bagyo.
2. Valid NVSU Student I.D with stickers
3. Assessment form (1st semester)

PAALALA:
- Kailangang i-attach ang Barangay Certification sa form.
- Ang orihinal na certification ay kailangan pa ring isumite sa USSC Office kahit nakapag-register na online.
