TAKBOKASYON 2K25 is happening this November 26, 2025 at the SMU Grounds, and honestly… this might be the sign you’ve been pretending not to notice. This year’s theme, “BOKASYON — Bukas sa Misyon: Journeying Together, Called in Communion, Sent in Mission” isn’t just a theme—it’s a call. A reminder that we are not meant to walk life alone, but to journey together, to answer a mission bigger than ourselves, and to move as one community with purpose. Being “bukas sa misyon” means saying yes even when you’re tired, busy, or tempted to skip. It means showing up because you know your presence matters more than your excuses.

Isipin mo: para sa gala, ang bilis mong gumising. Para sa lakad, ang dali mong kausap. Pero para sa communion? Para sa mission? Para sa journey na sama-samang tinatahak? bigla kang may “di pwede,” “pagod,” or “next time”?😌 Sometimes, the most meaningful missions begin with one small, slightly-hingal step — and that step could be yours.

Lace up, show up, and run not because you have to, not for the medal, not for the picture, but because hope needs someone willing to move — and sometimes, that someone is you.

𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐌 𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Center for Christian Formation (CCF) joyfully welcomed the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) for this year’s 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, held on November 18, 2025 at the Mary Seat of Wisdom Chapel across selected Christian Faith Education (CFE) classes.

𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗡𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗼 𝗙. 𝗛𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮, CICM, Director of CCF and University Chaplain, together with 𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗠 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻, shared their inspiring vocation journeys and introduced the mission, charism, and global missionary works of the CICM Congregation.

This Vocation Campaign aims to awaken the hearts of the youth, helping them discover God’s call in their lives. By bringing and sharing real stories and testimonies, the CICM encourages students to reflect deeply on how they, too, are called to serve in love, compassion, and commitment.

𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | In Honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary

In honor of the Month of the Holy Rosary, the Christian Faith Education Department (CFED) spearheaded the Living Rosary 2025, a meaningful spiritual initiative held on October 23, 2025, at Marian Park, in front of Museo de Maria.

Through this act of prayer, selected CFE classes and the CREEd class came together and formed a living circle of faith, where each participant represented a bead and each prayer symbolized a shared devotion. The Living Rosary reminded everyone that prayer was not only a personal act of piety but also a collective expression of unity and faith in the loving guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This activity sought to deepen the students’ appreciation of the Rosary as a powerful instrument of meditation and reflection on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As the CFED continues to guide the community in nurturing Christian values, the Living Rosary stood as a living testament to its mission: to foster a faith that is active, reflective, and deeply rooted in prayer.

This reminds us of the power of prayer and unity in honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, and as one community of faith, let us come together in seeking her intercession and guidance. Piso mula sa Puso para sa Misyón is more than just a collection of coins. It’s a movement of hearts beating for one mission: to share God’s love in simple yet powerful ways.

Every piso you drop becomes part of something bigger. It helps sustain the mission works of our CICM missionaries who bring hope, education, and compassion to communities around the world, especially to those who need it most.

But the mission doesn’t stop there.
Your contribution also supports the church projects that continue to nurture our faith communities and strengthen our shared spirit of service. It also assists in the faculty development and professional education programs of the Center for Christian Formation, empowering educators to teach not only with knowledge but with faith-filled hearts.

This October, as we celebrate the Mission Month, may we be reminded that generosity doesn’t depend on how much we have but on how much love we are willing to give.
Because a piso given from the heart becomes a blessing that reaches beyond what eyes can see.

As part of the AGAPE 2025 celebration, the Marian community joyfully gathered for a simple salo-salo during their CFE classes — a table fellowship that became more than just sharing food, but also sharing life and values with one another.

The spirit of AGAPE reminds every student that the best gift we can offer to our Blessed Mother Mary is not material, but the love that comes from praying sincerely, being kind in words and deeds, and obeying with humility. Around the table, stories of faith and friendship were exchanged, and the bonds of unity were strengthened — just as the early Christians did in their own agape meals.

May this fellowship continue to inspire the Marian family to live out the true meaning of love — a love that is selfless, genuine, and rooted in Christ, just as it was reflected in the life of Mary. 💙
