IN PHOTOS | Today’s Flag Raising Ceremony was hosted by the Planning Unit and the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office at the Bayombong Campus, and by the Records Unit at the Bambang Campus, highlighting significant accomplishments, updates, and ongoing initiatives from various university units.

In his message, University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr. reminded the university community of the start of enrollment for Academic Year 2026–2027 and encouraged everyone to remain proactive in ensuring the efficient delivery of services to students and stakeholders.

Reflecting on the recent celebration of Philippine Independence Day, Dr. Dumale emphasized that freedom goes beyond national sovereignty.

“Marami pang bagay na dapat tayo ay Malaya. Tayo bilang institusyon, ang misyon natin sa pagpapalaya ay palayain ang mga estudyante sa kahirapan. ‘Pag ang edukasyon ay ibinigay sa ating estudyante, iyan ang makakapagpalaya sa kanila sa kahirapan, including their families,” he shared.

Dr. Dumale further highlighted that this commitment is the reason behind the administration’s relentless pursuit of scholarship opportunities and student support programs, ensuring that every deserving NVSU student is given the opportunity to complete their studies and achieve a better future.

IN PHOTOS | Seeking to learn from and share best practices in university operations, officials and staff of Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU), led by Vice President for Academic Affairs Atty. Rushid Jay S. Sancon, visited Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) today for a benchmarking activity.

In her welcome message, Dr. Elma P. Apostol, Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the harmonious relationship among the university officials, describing it as one of NVSU’s good practices that strengthens coordination, collaboration, and efficient institutional governance.

The activity featured presentations from directors, heads, and representatives of key offices and units, covering areas such as Research, Extension and Training, Information and Communication Technology Service, Internationalization, Student Affairs and Services, and Institutional Governance.

The LSPU delegation also visited NVSU's research centers and participated in a campus tour to gain a deeper understanding of the university's programs, facilities, and initiatives.

During the program, Atty. Sancon expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by NVSU and commended the welcoming atmosphere of the university from the moment their delegation arrived.

Representing University President Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., Dr. Carlo F. Vadil delivered the President's message, highlighting NVSU's commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement through collaboration and knowledge-sharing with partner institutions.

This June, the Philippines marks Judiciary Month, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court.

Declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1265, s. 2026, the observance calls on government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and civil society to support and take part in the commemoration.

Established on June 11, 1901 through Act No. 136 of the Philippine Commission, the Supreme Court has stood as a pillar of justice—first led by Cayetano Arellano.

In line with this milestone year, the Court unveils a series of activities under the theme: “SC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation.”

As a state university committed to upholding the rule of law, good governance, and civic responsibility, Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) joins the nation in recognizing this historic milestone and supports the observance of Judiciary Month.

𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Strength, resilience, and inclusion shine through as Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student Diana Rose Guiab shares her journey as one of the featured ACHIEVE students in celebration of the 32nd Anniversary of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

A person with disability (PWD), Diana’s story is rooted in perseverance and determination—rising from Alternative Learning System (ALS) to senior high school and now pursuing her college education at Nueva Vizcaya State University.

Her journey is marked by continuous adjustment and courage, from adapting to new academic environments to overcoming everyday challenges in mobility and social interaction. Yet through it all, she remains grounded in her dream of finishing her studies and giving pride to her family.

At NVSU, she experiences a strong sense of inclusion and support, where accessibility and compassion from the university community make her feel that she truly belongs. For Diana, education is not defined by limitations, but by the strength to continue despite them.

Driven by her family, faith, and vision for a better future, she stands as a reminder that abilities are not measured by condition, but by determination and heart.
