It was founded in 2005 and was formally known as Nueva Vizcaya Bright Child School, Inc. or MWAI was founded in 2005 by Maria Theresa S. Basilio, as part of her mission to inspire greatness in the children of Nueva Vizcaya. Wohoo, HOWL-most there!

Through the distance, the howls are now clearer—no longer faint echoes, but voices carried by the wind, cutting through the silence of the forest. It feels like Muir Wolf is finally closer than ever, as if the path is slowly revealing itself back to him.

Even if we already know he’s near, help us find him still! Every sound, every shadow, every corner of the forest could be the final clue that leads him home.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 | R2 jins nab silver at team poomsae Palarong Pambansa tilt

Region II’s phenomenal taekwondo prodigies Noward Hlway Q. Enriquez, Xian Gabriel V. Gamata, and Kriztian Aldrizch M. Elesterio secured a second-podium finish in the Secondary Boys Team Poomsae event at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 held at the Bayugan City Convention Center in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, May 27.

Gamata and Enriquez, both representing Nueva Vizcaya and Muir Woods Academy, showcased strong coordination and precision throughout their performance at the national stage.

Region II delivered a strong and composed performance, finishing second overall with a score of 8.467, just behind Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) which topped the event with 8.55. National Academy of Sports (NAS) followed closely in third place with 8.434.

Moving forward, Gamata and Enriquez aim to bounce back stronger in the next school year, building better consistency in their performances ahead of future competitions.
