The Library Working Students Organization (LWSO), in partnership with BLIS students, successfully conducted Project Lakbay Libro at Brgy. Vista Alegre Child Development Center, bringing the love of reading to young minds in the community. ๐โจ
The outreach featured engaging storytelling sessions, lively intermission performances by LWSO officers, and book donations to ensure the children continue to enjoy reading beyond the event. Through these activities, the program aimed to promote literacy, inspire imagination, and extend the libraryโs mission of knowledge-sharing beyond campus.
The childrenโs excitement and eagerness to learn reflected the impact of the program, while our student gained meaningful experience in fostering education and cultural enrichment. A heartfelt thank you to Brgy. Vista Alegre for welcoming us and to our dedicated LWSO and BLIS student for making this initiative a memorable step toward nurturing a culture of reading in the community. ๐

LWSO First General Assembly 2025
A warm welcome to all the new members of the LWSO Family! ๐ This gathering marked the beginning of another meaningful journey together as we continue striving to balance both work and studies with courage, dedication, and pride. We also had the chance to meet and connect with our dedicated and hardworking section heads and staff who play an important role in guiding and supporting us along the way.
We were truly honored to have our beautiful and inspiring guest speaker, a proud former LWS who once walked the same path as we do today. With her powerful words, she reminded us:
โจ โKinaya ko, kaya dapat kayanin nโyo rin.โ
โจ โHuwag kayong mahihiya bilang isang Library Working Student. Kase Kaya nโyong magtrabaho habang nag-aaral. Tandaan, Library Working Student kayoโhindi lang basta, Library Working Student.โ
Her message gave us strength, hope, and inspiration to continue chasing our dreams despite the challenges. Her story is living proof that being an LWS is not a limitation, but a badge of resilience and determination.
The event also highlighted the accomplishment and financial report of the former LWSO Officers (AY 2024โ2025), followed by the official turnover and welcome of our newly elected officers for AY 2025โ2026.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated advisers and the new set of officers whose commitment and teamwork made this event successful. ๐ Their passion reminds us that with unity, we can achieve more.
This is just the beginning of an exciting chapter. Hereโs to a year filled with growth, learning, inspiration, and unwavering support for one another. Together, letโs make AY 2025โ2026 truly remarkable!

Today's In-Service Training was more than just a session; it was a moment of connection and inspiration for our amazing Library Working Students.
Our speaker, a shining example of what dedication and hard work can achieve, shared her personal journey as a former working student, filling the room with a sense of shared experience and possibility. Her emphasis on understanding one's career path encouraged our members to look ahead with intention and purpose, further amplified by the insightful moment when members of our organization bravely articulated their dreams and shared their envisioned status a decade from now! We were also deeply moved by her genuine gratitude for her time in the library, a powerful reminder to appreciate every opportunity. And in a truly heartfelt message, she reminded us all of the strength and comfort found in prayer, encouraging us to lean on our faith in all that we do.
Thank you Ar. Audry May C. Dominguez for the wisdom and encouragement! ๐ฑ
