Last January 24, 2026, the Marian Interlocutors, together with Mr. Hansen, SPCO Head, and Mrs. Rodora, Head of the GSO, spearheaded a repainting activity of trash bins around the Saint Mary’s University vicinity in support of SMU’s CHSF. Through the active participation of its officers and members, the initiative produced visible and lasting improvements that help strengthen environmental awareness and responsible waste management within the campus community. ♻️🗑️

The SMU Language Department, led by Ms. Marites Querol, together with the Marian Interlocutors Society, joyfully celebrated Alay Pamasko 2025 at Concepcion Elementary School. ❤️📚

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and camaraderie as students, teachers, and pupils witnessed how hope continues to shine as a guiding light this Christmas season. 🌟👫

Sir Vince, MIS Adviser, beautifully shared the value of gratitude during his message: “Unang dapat pasalamatan ay walang iba kundi ang Panginoon.” 🙏💛

Truly, this mission was made possible through God’s grace—His enduring hope continues to inspire the SMU Language Department, together with the MIS and the MYLC/GILD community, to reach out, serve, and uplift pupils who need it most. 🤍✨

May this endeavor continue to spark hope in these children and guide them in the years to come. 🎁

Interlocutors Joined The Action!

Last Friday, November 28, 2025, the Marian Interlocutors Society proudly joined the human chain against mining and corruption. Standing strong with individuals and communities who demand change.

Together with the whole Marian community we are advocating for a sustainable future, protecting our natural resources and prioritizing people and environment over profits.

The highly anticipated STEH Week has just begun. Now, the 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 in collaboration with the 𝑬𝑪𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑯 has just succesfully finished conducting the 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍. 💚✨
It was spearheaded by the MIS Adviser, Mr. Vince Errol Lucas, together with the co-advisers from the Languanges Department.

Participants coming from the different courses under STEH, enjoyed the activities while maintaining their competitive spirit.

Screens On, Minds Open!

Yesterday, October 26, 2025, officers and members of the Marian Interlocutors Society joined the 2025 Philippine Association for Languages Teaching (PALT) 2025 Junior Intensives virtual conference.
In line with the theme "Pre-Service Language Teacher's Creations on Language Education in the 21st Century. A total of 20 research and lesson exemplar presentations were shared via zoom. Ms. Kenrida and Mr. Menardo from the English language studies 3 became the first presenter and was commended by the board of judges.

On the other hand the group of Ms. Winthy Shecar Sierra bagged the third best presenter award. She says that after her participation in the said events she really learned a lot from all the delegates who took part. And that she gained more knowledge and ideas. She also shares that she feels proud for her team because despite being pressured and nervous they successfully finished the task and even got an award." From thinking "matapos lang to" to realizing "kaya pala namin" that shift truly inspired me to do and try even more" she added.
