The newly recreated UConnect accounts for Freshmen and Transferees (A.Y. 2026–2027) are now available for retrieval!

🔐 Please remember:
• Save your email address and password immediately after retrieving your account. Keep your credentials in a safe place for future use.
• You are allowed only three (3) retrieval attempts. Enter your information carefully, as your account may be locked after three unsuccessful attempts.
• If your internet connection is slow, please be patient and avoid refreshing the page. Refreshing may be recognized as repeated attempts and could consume your allotted three (3) attempts.

Your UConnect account provides access to Microsoft 365 Online Apps and various university digital services, so be sure to keep your credentials secure.

📢 UCONNECT ACCOUNT UPDATE FOR NEW STUDENTS
(Freshmen and Transferees, 1st Semester, SY 2026–2027)

To fast-track the synchronization process and ensure that all new students receive fully functional UConnect accounts, the Management Information System (MIS) Office is currently recreating the UConnect accounts for newly admitted students.

The updated UConnect accounts are expected to be available by the end of this week or at the start of next week.

📌 Once the accounts are ready, we will post another announcement together with the account retrieval link and step-by-step retrieval instructions.

We kindly ask everyone to stay tuned and follow this page for further updates.

📢 Announcement to Microsoft Account (UConnect) Users

To all users currently using their Microsoft Account through UConnect, please be informed of a recent change in Microsoft’s policy.

While our subscription (the Microsoft A1 plan) remains free, the use of desktop applications (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint installed on computers) is no longer included for free accounts.

🔹 What changed?

- Desktop editing using installed Office apps is now disabled for free A1 users.
-Documents can still be created, edited, and saved using the online versions through a web browser.

🔹 What you can still do:

- Access Word, Excel, and PowerPoint online
- Edit and collaborate on documents via the web
- Store and access files in OneDrive

🔹 What is no longer available:

- Editing documents using installed desktop Office applications under the free A1 subscription.

To continue using your Microsoft services, please open your account through the NVSU cloud portal:

We encourage all users to log in through the browser and use the online apps to continue working on their files.

Notice from the MIS Office:

Please be advised that due to the critical security concerns related to the impending arrival of Typhoon "Uwan," the MIS Office will be conducting an emergency shutdown of all on-premise systems today, November 8, 2025, starting promptly at 5:00 PM. This essential measure is being taken to protect our physical and digital infrastructure, including UConnect, local Information Systems, CCTV, and IP Phone services, from potential damage caused by power interruptions or surges. All system users are required to save their work and log off their computers before 4:45 PM PST, as service resumption will only occur once work officially resumes and a complete system integrity check is successfully completed. Please note that for continuity of operations, our Microsoft Office 365 cloud services will remain active and accessible; you may log in directly to continue using email and cloud files at https://www.office.com. We thank you for your immediate cooperation.
