The Provincial Skills Competition 2026, conducted by TESDA Nueva Vizcaya under the theme β€œHataw Novo Vizcayanos sa Pandaigdigang Kasanayan at Kahusayan,” concluded at the Tam-an Agritech Tourism and Training Center. The second day, April 22, 2026, was dedicated to the final rounds of the competition and the culminating closing and awarding ceremonies.

The program featured a closing message from Dir. Melchor T. Carnate Jr., Chairperson of Tam-an BMPC. He expressed his deep gratitude to all partner agenciesβ€”particularly TESDA and various private technical institutionsβ€”while gracefully acknowledging areas for improvement in future events. Following this, certificates of appreciation were presented to the experts, judges, sponsors, and institutional heads whose support was vital to the event's success.

The highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the bronze, silver, and gold awardees. Winners received medals, tokens from Converge, and a livelihood package worth 30,000–50,000 PHP from DOLE Nueva Vizcaya. The awards were presented by TESDA Provincial Director Benhur Baniqued, DOLE Provincial Director Elizabeth Martinez, Chairperson Melchor T. Carnate Jr., and Jury Panel member Father Enrique Tiongson.

In his message of gratitude, PD Baniqued challenged and encouraged the gold awardees to maintain their momentum as they advance toward the WorldSkills Competition. The event formally concluded with the lowering of the banners and the extinguishing of the Skills Competition torch, symbolizing the successful end of the festivities.

The ceremonies were hosted by Masters of Ceremonies Ms. Belen Bandao, School Administrator of Tam-an Agritech Tourism and Training Center and Ms. Eva T. Doniego, Supervising TESD Specialist, marking a triumphant celebration of skill, excellence, and partnership in technical-vocational education.
