A Golden Kick for Saint Mary’s University Grade School!

Kalvin Dale I.Manuel, an incoming Grade 6 pupil of Saint Mary’s University Grade School, brought great pride and honor to the Marian community as he clinched the Gold Medal in the Elementary Boys Freestyle Poomsae event at the 2025 Palarong Pambansa, held in Ilocos Norte.

Representing Nueva Vizcaya, Kalvin showcased grace, power, and precision in his performance, earning a top score of 6.70 to secure the championship against the country’s best young athletes.

Manuel’s impressive feat is a true testament to his dedication,perseverance, and Marian spirit of excellence. More than just a victory in sports, this moment marks a significant milestone in his young journey, inspiring his fellow Marians to pursue their passion with determination and faith.

His triumph has received overwhelming support and admiration on social media, with the Nueva Vizcaya Taekwondo team giving thanks and praise saying, “ To god be the glory!”

As we welcome Kalvin Manuel back for the new school year, we celebrate not only his win but the values he exemplifies-discipline, humility, and resilience. Truly, Kalvin, is a shining example of what it means to be a Little Marian.
