The 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (LHAS) continued its mission at NVGCHS, reaching more learners and strengthening our commitment to creating a healthier school community.

As part of the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (LHAS), Day 2 was dedicated to promoting health education among Preschool to Grade 6 learners through interactive and engaging health teaching sessions.

Topics included:

Through fun discussions and demonstrations, learners were encouraged to develop healthy habits that will help them stay clean, confident, and disease-free both in school and at home.

The opening of classes became even more meaningful as the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (LHAS) officially commenced at PLT Elementary.

As part of our commitment to promoting health and wellness, Day 1 activities included Blood Pressure (BP) Monitoring and Capillary Blood Glucose (CBG) Monitoring, ensuring that students and parents receive proper health assessment and screening as we begin the academic year.

With grateful hearts, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to the Barangay Officials of Barangay Paniki, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, especially to Barangay Captain Nolando Saturno, for warmly welcoming us and supporting the success of our outreach program. Your kindness, cooperation, and generosity truly made this meaningful activity possible. 💖

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated Clinical Instructors, the Health Society, and CCEOP CON for their guidance, effort, and commitment in making this program organized, successful, and memorable. Most especially, thank you to all the residents, children, and participants who joined us wholeheartedly and filled the day with smiles, laughter, and positivity. 🫶

This outreach program was not only about giving, but also about connecting with the community through care, compassion, learning, and service. Throughout the activity, we were able to conduct different meaningful programs and services for the community, including:
