The PLTClan Indigenous Peoples Convergence was more than just an event—it was a meaningful celebration of culture, identity, heritage, and solidarity among the Indigenous Peoples of Region II.

Held at the PLT College Mini Gymnasium, the gathering became a venue for learning, appreciation, and strengthening the voices and traditions of our Indigenous communities. Through shared stories, cultural pride, and collective participation, the activity highlighted the importance of preserving indigenous heritage while fostering inclusivity and understanding within the academic community.

The event featured inspiring testimonial messages from distinguished speakers who shared their journeys, experiences, and advocacies as members and supporters of Indigenous Peoples communities. Special thanks to 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝘽. 𝙔𝙤𝙜𝙮𝙤𝙜, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙚 𝘽. 𝘼𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣, 𝙈𝙨. 𝙇𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙪-𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙨. 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘽𝙞𝙬𝙞𝙩

The convergence was further highlighted by the presence and message of 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙧. 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙤 𝙇. 𝙏𝙞𝙖𝙢, Commissioner of the Region II National Commission on Indigenous Peoples and CEO of PLT College, Inc., who emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous heritage through education, leadership, and community empowerment.

PLT College, Inc. extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this remarkable convergence. Together, let us continue to honor, respect, and celebrate the rich cultural identity of our Indigenous Peoples.

In connection with the announcement by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) regarding the scheduled power interruption from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, all classes across all levels will shift to Asynchronous Learning Modality on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Faculty members are advised to provide learning materials, recorded lectures, and alternative academic tasks through the institution’s designated learning platforms. Students are expected to accomplish these within the prescribed timeframe.

All offices will be closed on the said date. Furthermore, all on-site activities, including laboratory classes and face-to-face assessments, shall be postponed or rescheduled, subject to the discretion of the instructors and approval of department heads.

All students, faculty, and staff are enjoined to be guided accordingly and to make the necessary preparations.

A graduate of PLT College, Inc., Fernandez has proven herself as a true standout among the 2,124 examinees, with only 901 successfully passing. Her success is not only a personal triumph but also a source of pride for her family, mentors, and the entire PLT College community.
