OFFICIAL STATEMENT
It has come to our attention that reports are circulating regarding the involvement of some University employees in campaigning activities for the upcoming Student Council Elections, including endorsements within social media platforms and private group chats.
We wish to remind the entire NVSU community of
Article VIII, Section 8 of our Election Code:
"To ensure the non-partisan nature of the elections, all NVSU employees shall not participate in any form of the student council elections."
The Student Council Elections are a platform for student leadership and democratic expression. To maintain a fair and unbiased environment, it is crucial that all faculty and staff remain neutral. Any form of campaigning, endorsement, or influence exerted by employees is a direct violation of our established code.
Let us uphold the spirit of true student governance.
