On 180900H May 2026, the NVSU–Bayombong ROTC Unit proudly takes center stage as the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya formally recognizes Nueva Vizcaya State University for its outstanding achievement in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026.

Demonstrating excellence, discipline, and unwavering commitment to service, the NVSU–Bambang Campus secured 3rd place, while the NVSU–Bayombong Campus earned 5th Place—both reflecting the university’s strong standard of military training and its vital role in shaping competent and principled youth leaders.

This recognition was conferred through a Certificate of Commendation and an official Resolution during the 42nd Regular Session of the 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, held at the SP Session Hall, People’s Hall, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The NVSU–Bayombong ROTC Unit remains steadfast in its mission to uphold excellence, discipline, and service—bringing pride and honor not only to the university but to the entire province of Nueva Vizcaya.

On 160800H May 2026, the NVSU Bayombong ROTC Unit proudly took part in the Simultaneous Graduation and Oath-Taking Ceremony of Basic and Advance (1CL) ROTC Cadets spearheaded by the 203rd CDC. The event gathered cadets from six (6) activated ROTC units across Nueva Vizcaya and was held at the Saint Mary’s University.

Gracing the occasion as Guest of Honor and Speaker was Hon. Jose V. Gambito, Governor of Nueva Vizcaya, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of discipline, accountability, and selfless service as the foundation of genuine leadership. He commended the ROTC program for molding young individuals into resilient, principled, and service-driven citizens prepared to contribute to nation-building.

Academic officials from various institutions, training staff, ROTC commandants, and NSTP directors attended the ceremony. 2,184 Basic ROTC cadets finished their training, and 62 Advance ROTC cadets successfully graduated—a noteworthy accomplishment that demonstrates their commitment, tenacity, and dedication.

As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, the NVSU Bayombong ROTC Unit extends its congratulations to all graduates. May you continue to uphold the core values of discipline, leadership, courage, and patriotism as you serve the community and the nation. 🇵🇭

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐑𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The NVSU Bayombong ROTC Unit enthusiastically participated in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026, which was conducted at Nueva Vizcaya Sport Complex (Clisoc Field) in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, on May 5, 2026. The unit performed exceptionally well, earning an extraordinary overall rating of 98.78%, a notable improvement over its prior rating of 96.618%.

Conducted annually by the Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army, the RAATI serves as a vital assessment of ROTC units’ discipline, readiness, and operational competence. The inspection covered essential components such as administration, drills and ceremonies, first aid, weapon handling, and basic combat skills.

The inspection was led by COL CAMILO A SADDAM GSC (INF) PA, Chairperson of the Inspection Team, and was graced by the presence of the university administration headed by Dr. Wilfredo A. Dumale Jr., University President, alongside the respective college deans.

A highlight of the event was the unit’s remarkable Silent Drill Exhibition, executed with precision, discipline, and unity under the guidance of COL RANDY PAGUNURAN INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 2RCDG. The performance showcased the cadets’ excellence in coordination, teamwork, and military bearing.

The event was also witnessed by members of the student body, as well as proud parents, relatives, and supporters whose encouragement fueled the cadets to give their best.
This achievement stands as a testament to the unit’s unwavering dedication, rigorous training, and strong leadership—reflecting the true spirit of service and excellence.
