Saint Mary’s University reaffirmed its commitment to quality education and community engagement through the successful conduct of Enhancing Engagement in Mathematics and Science through Demonstration Teaching and Training held on May 8, 2026 at Pinayag National High School. The whole-day extension activity brought together Science and Mathematics teachers for a meaningful professional development program focused on innovative, interactive, and learner-centered teaching strategies aimed at strengthening classroom instruction and enhancing student engagement.

The activity "Enhancing Engagement in Mathematics and Science through Demonstration Teaching and Training" was successfully conducted on May 8, 2026, at Pinayag National High School, Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya.

DOST-SEI CBPSME scholars, together with the Laboratory Assistants from the Center for Natural Sciences, shared their expertise and innovative teaching strategies with teachers from Pinayag National High School, Binalian National High School, and Mapayao Integrated School. The activity fostered collaboration, encouraged the exchange of ideas, and strengthened the participants’ commitment to delivering engaging and learner-centered instruction in Mathematics and Science.

Through demonstration teaching and collaborative learning, this initiative continues to inspire meaningful teaching practices, making learning more interactive, relevant, and impactful for every student.
