Good Friday, the Friday before Easter, is the Christian day to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary. This Christian holiday is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Great and Holy Friday, and Black Friday.

"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper, which Christians consider the institution of Holy Eucharist, also known as the Lord's supper or communion.
It is described in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 22. At the Last Supper with his disciples, Jesus breaks bread, saying, "This is my body," and pours wine, saying, "This is my blood." He then asks the disciples to "Do this in remembrance of me."

SMU-JMA INITIATED A QUIZ BEE COMPETITION

SMU-JMA initiated a Quiz Bee Competition; an aftermath of the JUAN BIG IDEA event of the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) with the theme “Advancing to the future of Marketing”; yesterday, March 8, 2023.

Jericho Corpuz, a 2nd Year Marketing student garnered 1st Place; Leo Estocapio a 2nd-year Marketing student, took the 2nd Placement.

The quiz was moderated by Roxanne Guevarra and Lavigne Corpuz, VP for Marketing and VP for Sports Development respectively. Also, present at the event is Lorraine Garcia, VP for Community Development.
