IN PHOTOS | VSU Quality Assurance Joins CASEE Seminar-Workshop

The VSU Quality Assurance Office participates in the three-day Seminar-Workshop on Certification and Accreditation System for Engineering Education (CASEE) on August 18–20, 2026.

The activity, initiated by the Faculty of Engineering in collaboration with the Philippine Technological Council (PTC), aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in certification and accreditation processes for engineering education.

For the Quality Assurance Office, the seminar-workshop provides valuable insights that support its role in promoting and sustaining quality standards across the University.

The activity supports UN SDG 4 – Quality Education by advancing quality standards in higher education and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through institutional collaboration in strengthening engineering education.

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 | VSU Isabel Records 100% Passing Rate Among First-Time Takers in August 2026 MELE

Two graduates successfully passed the August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (MELE), giving VSU Isabel a 100% passing rate among its first-time takers. The university recorded an overall passing rate of 28.57%.

IT’S A WRAP! | The two-day Internal Quality Audit Training, which concluded on August 13, 2026, successfully equipped the Internal Quality Auditors of VSU Main and VITA Campuses with enhanced knowledge, practical auditing techniques, and greater confidence to conduct actual internal quality audits.

With their strengthened skills and competencies, the auditors are now ready and eager to put their learnings into practice and contribute to the continual improvement of the University’s Quality Management System.

The training reinforces VSU’s commitment to quality, accountability, and continual improvement, in support of SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

L👀K | The Quality Assurance spearheads the creation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Manual for the VITA Campuses, held on August 5-6, 2026 at the Faculty of Nursing Big Room, Visayas State University, Baybay City, Leyte.

This activity aims to produce a Quality Manual ready for approval, paving way for the official rollout of the ISO 9001:2015 implementation across the VITA Campuses.
