VSU CWTS - Team Resilience

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜-𝗥𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛, 𝗣𝗔𝗪-𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡! 🐾

In celebration of Anti-Rabies Month, Team Resilience held the third week of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀 in Barangay Kilim last Saturday, promoting responsible pet ownership, safe animal handling, and rabies prevention.

𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:
• Free anti-rabies vaccination (onsite)
• Proper animal handling guidance
• Free veterinary consultation
• Free dog and cat food distribution
• Culmination activity and awarding of certificates of appreciation to the Barangay Kilim officials

This initiative was guided by Dr. Camille R. Enriquez, in collaboration with VSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and supported by Aycardo Veterinary Center Inc., and Dog Owner’s Club-VSU.

Team Resilience also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Kilim, led by Chairperson Carolyn G. Egasan and her dedicated officials, for their invaluable assistance and support throughout the implementation of Project ALAGA.

Together, we continue to care for every paw—one step at a time. 🐶🐱

…well, you wouldn’t have rabies if you’re vaccinated! 💉🦠

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!
— a reminder that rabies is 100% preventable through timely vaccination and responsible pet ownership.

In celebration of this month, we will be holding a Rabies Awareness Program on tomorrow, March 7 (Saturday) 8:00-10:30 A.M. at Barangay Kilim, led by Team Resilience through 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀. The activity will offer free anti-rabies vaccination and free veterinary consultations for dogs and cats. Let’s take this opportunity to protect our pets, our families, and our community. 🫂🐾

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀 Conducts Anti-Rabies Vaccination and Animal Handling Program in Barangay Kilim 🩺

Team Resilience successfully held the second session of PROJECT ALAGA: Animal Learning, Awareness, Growth, and Assistance in Barangay Kilim, delivering essential pet care services to the community.

Activities Featured:
• Proper animal handling program
• Onsite free anti-rabies vaccination at the Kilim Barangay Hall
• House-to-house vaccination services
• Free professional veterinary consultation
• Free dog and cat food distribution

Pet owners were guided on responsible pet ownership, safe handling, and vaccination schedules. The program also welcomed Mr. Angelo Ancog, President of the Dog Owner’s Club-VSU, as guest speaker for the animal handling session, where he shared practical tips on pet care.

This initiative was made possible through the guidance of Dr. Renato Daganta Jr. and Dr. Camille R. Enriquez, in partnership with the VSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital – DVM students, sponsor Aycardo Veterinary Center Inc., and the Barangay Officials of Barangay Kilim.

Team Resilience successfully kicked off the Animal Feeding – First Session of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐀 (Animal Learning, Awareness, Growth, and Assistance) in Barangay Kilim, Baybay, Leyte, at February 21, 2026.

With the guidance of Dr. Camille R. Enriquez, our guest speaker on animal nutrition, the team shared practical tips on proper and affordable feeding — because a full bowl means a happy paw and a happy community. 🥣💙

From learning to action, the team carried out a house-to-house feeding activity🏡, spreading care, awareness, and compassion to every doorstep and every furry friend🐶🐈.
