As we celebrate ASEAN Month, the International Affairs and Relations Office (IARO) of the Visayas State University–Main Campus, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science–Supreme Student Council (FAFS-SSC), conducted the “ASEAN Games."

With the theme “One ASEAN Community," the activity brought together VSU students for a fun-filled celebration featuring a variety of traditional games that encouraged camaraderie. Through these games, students enjoyed an engaging experience while appreciating the cultural values of friendship and community that are shared across the ASEAN region.

Beyond the competition, the ASEAN Games provided an opportunity for students to connect, build friendships, and celebrate the spirit of unity in diversity within the VSU community.

Together, let us celebrate the richness of our traditions and the strength of our shared ASEAN spirit!

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ASEAN!

“𝗣𝘂𝗽𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗸𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗸𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗮... 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼?”

A narrative built around the quiet weight of grief, acceptance, and the painful process of letting go.

Directed by its creative team, Meet Greet Bye stars a compelling ensemble led by Maricel Soriano, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Belle Mariano, and Juan Karlos Labajo. Moving away from traditional suspense or deceptive plot twists, the film delivers a straightforward, deeply human story that captures the hidden struggles within a family. It lays bare the unresolved tensions, unsaid words, and emotional endurance required when facing an inevitable loss.

Beyond reflecting our personal heartbreaks, the film forces us to look at the bigger picture and ask: How do we navigate love and healing in the face of permanent goodbyes?

As we end the celebration of ASEAN Month, join us in reflecting on the lived realities, emotional depths, and quiet resilience of everyday Filipinos.
