𝐂𝐖𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒

‎Students who are under in the 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐖𝐓𝐒) participated in its 3rd session that happened on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, which focused on developing leadership skills and strengthening teamwork through interactive and collaborative activities. Additionally, the session introduced students to the fundamental principles of effective leadership, emphasizing responsibility, communication, cooperation, decision-making, and the ability to work toward a common objective. Discussions and activities encouraged the students to recognize that leadership extends beyond directing others and also involves listening, contributing ideas, taking responsibility, and helping a group achieved its goals.

‎A team-building challenge formed part of the session, with students divided into different teams—they were tasked with constructing the longest tower using pasta and marshmallows. With limited materials, participants were required to develop a plan, distribute tasks among members, and determine how to build a structure that could remain stable while reaching the required length. The activity tested the students' creativity, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to communicate effectively under their limitations. Each team members had to exchange ideas and evaluate different approaches as they worked on their respective structures. When designs failed or became unstable, groups were given opportunities to reassess their strategies and make adjustments.

‎After the construction challenge, it demonstrated the importance of collaboration in accomplishing a shared goal. It showed how individual contributions can influence the performance of an entire group and how effective communication can help members coordinate their efforts more efficiently.
‎Moreover, yesterday's CWTS session provided students with an opportunity to apply leadership concepts in a practical setting. Through the combination of discussion and hands-on teamwork, they gained experience in making collective decisions, addressing challenges, and working with others toward a common objective.

‎Nevertheless, the session ended and it highlighted leadership as a skill developed through participation, responsibility, and cooperation, reinforcing the role of CWTS in preparing students to contribute meaningfully within their groups, institutions, and communities.

Good day, Students!

Please be informed of the following changes to tomorrow's activities:

1.) The Clean-Up Drive activity has been canceled.

2.) You will take a Pre-Test on the NSTP Program from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM in your assigned room. Please proceed directly to your assigned venue (Department Room Assignment). Kindly refer to the photo provided for your room assignment.

3.) At 8:30 AM, please proceed to the VSU Gymnatorium for the Common Module Session. Attendance will be checked.

4.) Since we will be joining the ROTC Unit, please follow the seat plan arrangement provided.

The deadline for Learning Task No. 1 has been moved to September 12, 2026 (Saturday), 5:59 PM.

This is to give enough time for students who are still waiting to be added to the VSUEE Portal or who have not yet joined a group.
